“We found this place by chance on a drive and we really enjoyed it. The place was opened to the public and there were volunteers at the entrance that were able to answer questions concerning the once private residence. The paths were very well managed and the gardens (even though still early spring) were lovely. Great place to relax and take in nature. We highly recommend.”

“Arrived around 4pm, they close at 6. Walked around the outdoor area, then went inside to see the other half and the sun went down, went back outside and it was a whole other world with string lights and colored light. Very magical after dark!
There is a cool self guided scavenger hunt inside and outside. They have guided tours to other parts of the building as well I think you have to schedule in advance.
Overall a cool experience, it doesn't take long to walk through the general admission area.”
“last winter i took part in one of the NBW Adult Bike Repair courses and it was a huge game changer in my confidence performing maintenance and repairs on my bike as needed! i highly recommend this course to anyone who is looking to improve their relationship with their bike. i feel so much more empowered as a daily commuter now that i understand the basics of how my bike works and functions.
i took a small spill the other day and when i got back on my bike i could tell something was off. instead of panicking i was able to go through the list of things i learned in the course, figure out the issue (my back break pads had been knocked out of alignment), i made the adjustment and was back on my way to work in just a few minutes!
thank you to andrew for teaching the course and the other kind volunteers who helped out each week, the knowledge you shared is being put to use for me often!!”

First I was very sad, depressed, and frustrated, and upset but I learn hard way to calm myself down with medicine was on help alot. That's my experience.”

“I attended PCK 2 years ago and graduated. It was one of the best experiences in my adult life. Not only did I learn culinary skills, I learned and relearned interpersonal skills, updated my math skills, learned to work as part of a team. PCK changed my life for the better. Superb training, great chefs, administrators and other students that I will always be fond of. PCK gives and gives and gives. It is a gift that keeps on giving to their students and to the community. I am a chef now and love it. Im a healthy 63 yr young woman who embarked on a passion...a dream.PCK makes dreams come true. Soon I will be going further with my education...my culinary dream to study more at one of the best culinary schools in the world and continue to use all the positive training and life enhancing experiences I received and gained at Philabundance Community Kitchen. I will always be grateful to the donors, owner, chefs, teachers, and staff and volunteers and fellow students. “This is “I-Money”; I am in the music industry for a reason. Rap, well the OLD SCHOOL rap from the ‘80s and ‘90s, was always the soundtrack to my life. Decade-wise, rap as my life soundtrack made my wonderful 2000s childhood and got me through those awful teenage years “last decade” as I dismiss the 2010s. (I was born in 1999; when I dismiss the 2010s as “last decade”, I am talking about high school from 2013-2017 as I favored middle school from 2011-2013 and life since graduating from high school in 2017 has been the best. I skip over those dreadful high school years “last decade” and fast-forward to my entry into adulthood around 2017/2018.) I started off as a rapper and ended up a WPPM DJ, doing classic hip-hop specials from my house, though I still rap part-time. A WPPM DJ first, rapper later. I started rapping in 2010, when I was in sixth grade and became a talent show rapper during my favored middle school years. FYI, I attended school at Penn Wood here in Delaware County, Pennsylvania(I’ve always lived in Darby Borough) and I was KNOWN for my rapping; while my other schoolmates from Penn Wood were obsessed with these Philly streets, music had always been the only thing that did it for me, as I rapped in the hallways and at the lunch table.”

“I went here for date night with my husband and had a wonderful experience. The couples date night class also provides light drinks and refreshments which was so cute and thoughtful! You check in with the front desk on the first floor in the gallery shop. They print out a sticker name tag with your picture on it that you submit on a machine or via QR code on your form. Then you go to the 4th floor where you can relax before class starts. Have some delicious cheese and crackers! There was wine, beers, and sparkling waters for beverages. The facilities are clean and cozy and the building is beautiful!
There is a coat closet that you can hang your jackets in before starting the class. Remember to wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty because trust me, some clay will get on you! Especially your legs. I also recommend short sleeves since I got clay up to my elbows somehow. Aprons are provided along with all tools you will need for throwing and decorating your piece. The instructors were very friendly and quickly went through the directions. You have about 1h 15 min to throw as many pieces as you want, then the remaining time to decorate. As a complete beginner, I struggled a bit with throwing shaping my bowl and the instructors helped me to perfectly shape my bowl. Their guidance was very comforting, knowing I wouldn’t leave with a monstrosity.
At the end, you can pick your favorite to decorate with pain or chisel in some designs. They will glaze and finish off the pottery for pick up in 2-4 weeks so remember to pick them up. I can’t wait to see my final piece! I highly recommend the clay studio for a quality experience learning pottery. They have many date nights throughout the year and it is worth every penny. Please check them out!”

“They are working hard to keep Chinatown from being gentrified. They offer free services to the local community and others. They have free SAT Prep Classes for Teens as part of their Youth Programing, as well as college workshops, civic engagement, leadership and volunteer opportunities. They also offer help with housing and social services. This is a great organization.”

“Nice, small museum where it seems to have diverse rotating exhibits. Visited with various natural aviary and landscape illustrations from Charles Wilson Peale and John Audubon.
Furthermore was fortunate to see their Family Fun day, participate in a few activities to collect postcards of featured artwork and a free prize, was a great event for all ages, even has a local animal illustrator, and not crowded!”

Some of the greens they grow themselves and the yogurt and granola they make in house and it's absolutely delicious. The barn worship space is lovely and the vibe is very friendly.”
