What a terrific exhibit; Pursuit & Persistence: 300 Years of Women in Science, a new exhibition at the American Philosophical Society's Library & Museum. The exhibition explores how women scientists have overcome obstacles to achieve breakthroughs, make places for themselves in science, and help others along the way

Philosophical Hall is open for business operations Monday-Friday, 9 am-5 pm.
The Museum exhibition is open Thursday-Sunday, 10 am-5 pm.
The American Philosophical Society is the oldest learned society in the United States. Founded by Benjamin Franklin in 1743, it continues its mission of "promoting useful knowledge" through research, fellowships, and public outreach. Philosophical Hall is also home to the APS Museum, where visitors will see exhibitions drawn from the Society’s renowned collections that trace American history and science from the Founding Fathers to the digital age.
