“IN 2021....The gentleman who ran the store was very informative and knew all kinds of information about mostly all the products.I enjoyed my visit and my products that I purchased and will be returning as soon as my seamoss and Shea Butter supply gets low.UPDATE FOR 2024***Just recently visited after a VERY LONG time away and I must say that the NEW LOCATION is even better!!It's so inviting and there are soooo many things to look at as soon as you step in the door.My favorite host ( he doesn't feel like a salesman) was still running the store. I enjoyed my talks with him while shopping. I tried a NEW PRODUCT and purchased sea moss. Go visit them. It's wonderful”
“Wellfed is the best meal delivery service in the city! (i’ve tried many.) They’ve done their big one for 2026 so far. the meals are fresh, new and delicious. You don’t have to eat boring to eat healthy! I also appreciate Adrianna and team for adapting to weather changes. It also feels like the customer service has gotten more responsive so far. I had issues getting ahold of them previously but recently they’ve been more responsive which i appreciate. I love these meals and am so excited to see what i get each week!”
“Penn Herbs: Herb Haven in the City
I stopped by Penn Herbs today and was blown away by their incredible selection of herbs! I was searching for a specific one and not only did they have it, but they had a ton of other options I didn't even know existed. The staff is super helpful and clearly knows their stuff.
If you're into herbs or looking for something natural to try, this is your place. They also have a great assortment of healthy foods. The only downside is parking, so be prepared to do a little hunting.
Highly recommend! Can't wait to come back.

“We were immediately welcomed by really friendly and warm people. There was no food menu and they verbally told us what they had today. We got a warm grain bowl, an incredibly delicious lentil soup, and broccoli cream soup, and a wonderful salad with tofu and almonds. We also grabbed a couple cookies for later. Everything tasted amazing.”

“It's not perfect but they do their best and it's an institution. Got a lot more heart than Amazon. Yes stuff is to expensive for me or most of us to shop there exclusively but it's not their fault that cheap prices require exploitation all along the supply line and I'm not going to punish them for that especially bc I know nobody on the co-op board is getting rich.”

“On a recent trip to Philly I stopped in Mom’s Organic Market to stock up on groceries for my home stay where I could cook. I am currently living in San Francisco so San Franciscans in Philly can think of Mom’s Organic Market akin to Rainbow Grocery in SF. Mom’s has a great variety of local and organic produce. Hard to find items that you would find in a good well stocked natural food store or cooperative like Mom’s is. Staff is friendly. The layout of the store is a labyrinth that can be confusing like a rubik’s cube too far gone yet with a little patience and perhaps asking security, staff, or one of the regulars they can help you get your learning curve to navigate the store of organic natural food product heaven. Within Mom’s is the Naked Lunch vegan restaurant which I will return to have a bite there as it looks interesting. I am a proud graduate of the Jack Kerouac School of Disembodied Poetics at Naropa University in Boulder, CO where I received the William S. Burroughs scholarship. I did my thesis on William S. Burroughs and William S. Burroughs wrote Naked Lunch aka the cut up novel for which this restaurant is named. Since I was in Philly two weeks I was mixing up dining out at the wonderful vegan foodie scene in Philly along with cooking at my homestay. For cooking at my homestay at Mom’s I picked up the following: Soymilk Local and organic blueberries Bananas Garnet jewel sweet potatoes Limes Avocados Organic granny smith apples Red cabbage Ginger root Sweet yellow onion I am pretty sure all the produce was organic. Mom’s has been family owned and operated since 1987. Great bulk bin items. Great produce. In a word, great. Mom’s sets the bar high for a natural food store. They are like the special forces of natural food stores which is quite alright in my book.Each day Mom’s states customers prevent 9,233 grocery bags from being used. Mom’s has banned over 250 ingredients from our products storewide. Mom’s has chosen to print their receipts on BPA and BPS free paper products for the safety of it’s community and the environment. In a word…Yes!”
“After going through it several times, I finally decided to take some pills from the Performix brand, which help burn fat and give you a lot of energy, especially when you do heavy exercise or work for more than 8 hours. I recommend it but check the instructions before taking”

“I was at Sprout's yesterday and I am impressed with the selection of fresh produce and proteins. There are tons of ready to go meals for lunch or dinner, fresh not frozen, by the deli. There is even sushi. I asked the deli attendant about its freshness, and he said a sushi chef come in every morning. Sprout's offers a wide selection of natural and organic products. Some I have never heard of but have been very happy to sample and I have even made some of them staples in my kitchen and bath. I love the open floorplan and that I can reach everything on the shelves (I'm only 5'2"). There is FREE off the street parking for shoppers. Every employee I encountered at the store is super friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. I am so happy this location opened this past summer. I am now a regular Sprout's shopper.”
