He was honest that it was his first 13-speed XPLR build, but he followed everything to spec and it turned out bang on — perfect shifting. What really stands out is how he always checks in with me to make sure the work is exactly what I’m looking for. I also want to give high marks to his staff — they’re professional, friendly, and clearly well-trained. Because of this level of care, honesty, and reliability, I won’t take my bikes anywhere else. “Traveled to Shippensburg for a biking weekend. On the first day, my rear derailleur cable broke/malfunctioned. I took the bike to Merv’s and the mechanics were able to get me back up and running the same day. They saved my weekend! Can’t say enough about this shop. Ten stars.

“I went to Hoovers Bike Shop to get my bike tuned up . First I called in morning and ask if he could possibly do a Bike tune up while I waited on it because i was coming from Carlisle . I did not expect to get same day service at all .He got me in that Day and did the Tune Up . He had stuff he was working on but he got me in anyway . His prices are very reasonable .I bought the bike Somewhere else it was new five years ago . And I had one tune up done like a month after I bought it and it hadn't been tuned up since . The brakes were shot and it needed a tune up bad . it works great now couldn't have made a better decision bringing it to Hoover's and I will definitely be back again. His prices are very reasonable . It was definitely worth the trip . No one in my area could beat his price or get me in like that .They wanted to have the bike for 3-4 days minimum with an appointment .Thank you Daniel for a job well done and fairly priced and Thanks for getting me right in and working with me and doing it while I waited . I would highly recommend them .On a scale from 1-10 I'd rate them 20 You can't go wrong with Hoovers Bike Shop Its definitely worth the trip .Give them a call and find out for yourself .
