Best Buy is an electronics store that usually has what customers need, from TVs and hard drives to phone cases and laptops, often at good deals and sale prices. The experience can vary. Many people report the best experience with friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and helpful staff who provide awesome customer service, right situations, and help load large items. Specific positive interactions include efficient emergency help, receiving a new TV within an hour, and salespeople who are professional and knowledgeable about products, helping customers make good choices. However, customer service experiences are not always consistent. There have been very unpleasant experiences over the phone, and sometimes staff at the pickup area can be rude, ignoring customers or seeming unhappy. A common issue is the store's setup, which really wants people to order ahead for pickup instead of in-store browsing. Many items are locked in glass cases, requiring customers to scan a QR code and wait over 15 minutes for someone to retrieve them, making browsing difficult. The pickup order process itself is usually easy and very fast for those who use it. Some sales approaches, like trying too hard to upsell warranties or higher-end products, can detract from an otherwise good experience.
