“Johnson is a must stop when traveling back home.thr owners are positive and welcome opportunities to work with you when traveling and store may not be open.. from my earliest days having a hoagie for supper when caddying,it is a most positive reflective experience”
“This is a major grocery store. They occupy an older building that has some needs. I find I get really good deals on food here, but their selection is more limited than the ‘super store’ in town. I live nearby, so it has become a favorite place for me to shop. All considered, they do a fantastic job of serving the community and bringing value to the neighborhood. The staff is plenty friendly and helpful, as well.”
“The right place to grab and go and with 10 of them near by its quick and easy, like my exgirlfriend from highschool...oops!Guess I should keep it G.Sorry folks, you know what I mean.Who couldn't use a little chuckle right now”
“We visited first time at this location and found out that it's grand opening day!
Very busy, but clean and spacious.
We noticed that there are more new items that are not carried in our local Aldi. Regardless, we love shopping at Aldi.”
“After being told I would need my engine taken apart to figure out my vehicle’s problem (losing power on hills) by the Chrysler garage in Dubois, I asked around for a second opinion. Larry at J & L fixed it the day I dropped it off with new spark plugs for a very minimal total cost. I am so grateful for this honest, knowledgeable business. I was spared thousands in unnecessary labor and parts. The dealership had also told me I needed new tires as they were dry rotted, which Larry checked over and said that they were not in bad shape at all. Give this man your business, trust him with your vehicles. Beware of dealerships trying to get as much money out of you as possible, and not checking the basics before wanting to disassemble your engine, even after I specifically asked them to check the spark plugs first, per my brothers suggestion (he lives out of state).”
“Walmart is getting a little bit out of hand on their prices every time I go in there the price goes up for the same thing I bought last week it's not the same as it used to be when Sam Walton was alive”
“This is a wonderful small owner-operated grocery store that makes its own smoked sausages. They are the best. I grew up knowing this place and eating their sausage, so I could be prejudiced. But you don't stay in business for decades if you aren't doing something right.”
