“I’m from out of town and stopped here because I had some questions about an air pump I had bought and I was having an issue with my fender bracket. Ryan was amazing and explained the pump to me and assisted me with my fender bracket concern. He did let me know this is their busy season so if I needed the bike looked at by a technician that they wouldn’t be able to do that the same day but he was able to provide me with a reference for another shop that could.”

“Not a fan of Specialized bikes, but I have a story about this shop worth sharing despite that. After doing a local gravel race in the Black Moshannon area, I got a flat leaving State College on my way home and did what every stressed and tired biker does when you get a flat: find the local compressor to avoid having to use my hand pump. Sparky the mechanic must have heard my flat happen because he was there to open the door before I could even get my hand on the handle. My tubeless flat was untraceable, and I suspect it was several small pinholes. That is irrelevant because Sparky took my bike and me back to the workshop area, and he got to work diagnosing the flat, measuring my valve to make sure the replacement tube would fit, doing a comprehensive inspection of the tire and rim to ensure our repair would hold, circling where he thought the hole was on the tire for a future inspection, and using an old tube as a barrier for the new one to help my chances of getting home. Sparky was calm and calculated, changing my flat with style and grace. That fix held for the 80 miles it took to get home and is still holding strong to this day.”
