Wiscoy For Animals
424 W Aaron Dr #100, State CollegeExtremely kind, knowledgeable, and passionate staff. The go-to place for canine nutrition & dietary needs of any & all kinds! My puppy was not eating and we had no idea why - after trying everything, I stopped into Wiscoy because I was desperate. Wanda and her staff went above and beyond to find a food that my puppy would eat & eat consistently. They were determined to help find a solution. Ultimately, the assistance and love I received from the Wiscoy staff was an overwhelming breath of fresh air & exactly what I needed. I learned so much from Wanda's guidance. They will always have my business!

The Pet Pub
507 Benner Pike, State CollegeI absolutely LOVED the experience we had!It was Sophie's first time at the groomers. She just turned one this month and she's a jumper. so I was worried about her doing thatShe went for a sani-cut and nail trim.ALL the girls were so nice, and helpful.Sophie's groomer , Brittany is such a sweetheart. As she was trimming my dog's nails , she was talking to her and petting her. By the end of her session, Brittany has a new friend!Even in the front, the girls are so understanding explaining to me that they expect dogs to sniff and get into things there because there are a lot of "scents". Especially if it's their first time. It's very clean and organized.I would highly..HIGHLY recommend to take your pup to them. You won't be disappointed.

Pet Supplies Plus State College
277 Northland Center, State CollegeI have been coming pretty regularly now, I didn't even know this store existed a few months ago. I now come here for all my reptile and small animal needs. Everytime I come in Quinn has been nothing short of amazing in helping me find exactly what I need, informing me on proper care and even going above and beyond to help me. I recently got a rescue ball python and I brought him in and Quinn helped me get multiple layers of stuck shed and eye caps off of him. And helped me set up a game plan for the little guy to get him healthy again. She is super knowledgeable if you have any questions about reptiles or small animals and need supplies this is the store to go to!

University Drive Veterinary Hospital
1602 University Dr, State CollegeAbsolutely love the care my dogs are given here. I am a firm believer in fear free handling and care and they do their very best to achieve that. I have two very sensitive, soft Cavaliers and they take the extra time they need to help them be comfortable. Not only do they have amazing bed side manner with my pups, but with the neurotic, high maintenance, ultra worrier that is me. I have always had very good experiences here and the pricing is reasonable. If you are looking for vets that truly care about their patients and their clients...this is the place.

Menapace Leon DVM
1518 W College Ave, State CollegeCentre Animal Hospital is busy and for a great reason! The staff is fantastic. I needed a last minute visit for Raina, as a new client. Judy on the phone was kind, helpful and patient. Nick, the Vet Tech was gentle with Raina and the vet, DVM Heisey was reassuring and knowledgeable. When your pets are in need, it's great to go to an animal hospital that truly cares. They go out of their way to be nice and helpful. Recommend and know where I'll be going while I'm in State College!

Metzger Animal Hospital: Mannino Shelly DVM
1044 Benner Pike, State CollegeFor almost a year and a half, my dog was under the care of cardiologist, Dr. Mark Koshko. My dog had congestive heart failure, and what a rollercoaster ride it was. Dr. Koshko managed my expectations on the outcome of the disease & always had my dog's best interest in mind. VCA Metzger also provided a "quality of life" appointment, as my dog was going downhill toward the end, and the vet who assisted us with his peaceful passing was amazing, too. I have nothing but good things to say about this place. Thank you!

Chew Chew Bun
115 E Beaver Ave, State CollegeOne of my favorite cafe/bakery. Black sesame latte and black sesame cake is amazing. I highly recommend these products especially if you have never tried.Additionally, their Taiwanese pineapple pie is wonderful. As I know, the owner/baker is Taiwanese. As a person who traveled Taiwan twice staying over a month, I can guarantee it is also very authentic. Good for a gift (they give a cute box for it).Very nice staffs. You can reserve whole cake in advance, too.

Tokyo Sushi & Hibachi
428 E College Ave, State CollegeMy favorite place in State College! The food and service are always excellent!I would call this a hidden gem. It's located below ground level, and not easy to find by casually walking by.I gave them a 4 on atmosphere because there seems to be a storage shortage for the restaurant. It's not off-putting for me, but some might not call it "fine dining." I'm ok with that, more food for me!

Centre County PAWS
1401 Trout Rd, State CollegeI've adopted two cats from here and I rescued a cat that was taken in here, and I can't find enough good things to say about this place. It's, by far, the cleanest & most well equipped shelter I've ever seen. The staff is so caring and friendly and they clearly work very hard to care for our unhoused fur friends. Very grateful to have this shelter in our community.
