“Seventeen of us were at Penn State for a group reunion. We visited the Student Book Store and I was surprised that most of the merchandise was priced lower than I expected them to be. The store personnel were friendly and kept the store in great order. If you're ever in State College, PA, stop in. I'm glad we did.”

“Very nice store, it was easy to find with lots of parking. The store had full shelves, and was clean. The store was not very busy for a Saturday night, which was nice to shop. All the staff were very nice, but it was my first 5 below that we were not greeted when you entered, it's not a deal breaker, but it's nice that the 5 below stores in general do greet you.”

The experience is harsh, with temperatures ranging from -20 to -30 degrees during full-day sits in a pop-up blind, requiring me to remain still all day. Each year, I experimented with different clothing and layers to keep warm. Over the past three years, I have likely spent around $15,000 on various gear to maintain warmth, yet I always found myself feeling cold. “Its a smaller store but definitley gives you the feel of places past such as Levins in Tyrone They now carry the most 4x and 5x shirts items on college ave. Most are Gildan items but they will fit you for your shoes unlike most stores nowadays. Only drawback is parking is a challenge even on a mid summer night”
