“For the most part, good. I really have to cut back on food purchases due to cost. Just the way it is. A paycheck only goes so far. And please, tell me again what that robot is for other than getting in my way??? ??”

“The pharmacist and the entire staff have always treated me well. The team is kind, patient, efficient, knowledgeable and helpful. I won't go anywhere else. Thank you for always being there for me!”

“Selection is not as great as collegeville but this location is a lot closer to me. Staff is always so kind and willing to help! My only complaint is the lack of parking and lack of cart return. I have two young children and am pregnant. It’s ridiculous to have to bring the items to my car parked fairly far away and then walk with my kids back inside to return the cart back out to my car again. A cart return would make things a little bit easier.”

“I had the best experience here. Everyone is pleasant and accommodating.
I brought a ton of beef ribs for a cookout. The meat was fresh and they seasoned them for me at no extra cost.
Suffice it to say they turned out wonderful and were delicious he “talk” of the cookout!”

“We try to support local small businesses as much as possible over the big chain stores because the little guys are who built this country. This is little hidden gem is a great little Mom & Pop grocery store that's been here for a long time. They do their own butchering onsite and stock some of the name brands as well. My Grandfather butchered for them back in the 50s and maybe the 60s. The meat selection here is good and they're not gouging folks like the big chain stores. Check out the deli case too as they have some nice selections and the folks behind the counter always greet you with a smile. We'll come to Freed's as long as they're open.”

“Great destination for meat. On premises butcher shop. They can provide you with cuts customized to your specifications. They also have a deli. Small grocery store as well. Reasonable prices. A great resource in the community.”

“Great selection of just about everything! Love the produce section. I only wish there were more grains available in the bulk area. Going to check out the collegeville location to see if there are more options.”

“Always one of my favorite places to shop whether via insta cart or in person. Aldis always seems to have great deals and definitely seems cheaper than most other places like Walmart. The staff at every aldis ive been to have always been friendly and helpful.”

“On whim the other day, my dad and I picked up three cheeses from the farm stand to serve at our holiday meal today. Oh, my goodness, how delightful a decision that was! The Thistle, a brie-style, was very delicious, either on it's own, or with a touch of honey. I'm excited to get this again, and see how it changes season to season. The ash-rind Witchgrass was a beautiful surprise! Rich, but bright and tart, it held up to strong flavors, like my homemade onion jam with citrus and peppercorns, perfectly. I can see an infinite number of serving possibilities for this one. The alpine tomme style Marigold went beautifully with dried fruit and toasted almonds, but I'm really looking forward to popping it under the broiler on toast tomorrow! I'm so very thrilled to have such skilled cheesemakers so close!”

“I was in here a little bit ago. I bought a gallon of 2% milk and noticed it looked like there was a dead fly on one of them. I tried calling but got no answer. Hopefully the manager sees this and checks the rest before someone else buys them”

“Damien extremely patient with me and my stepdaughter. He explained things properly and took the time to help us. He did not make us feel rushed. He did not talk to me like I was an idiot. He counts money very quickly, and he was very efficient they should consider themselves lucky to have him. Nice job, Damien thank you for your help. Keep up the good work.”

“Redner's has the absolute nicest employees, and I love that they're a local employee-owned chain. Locally sourced products are sold at a good price and are very fresh. I'm a big fan of Clover Farms dairy products and the chicken leg quarters sold here.

This isn't the place to get everything. They only carry certain cuts of meat, imported fruit is expensive and spoiling, and most items in the aisles are priced high (though sometimes they run great sales). This is where you go to get local food you need on a daily basis, at good quality and prices.”

“This store is so clean and has such a large selection of products. They have a great selection of premade meals for one. So easy to pick up on the go. Amazing store.”

“Boyer's is nice when you need to grab a single item and either don't feel like going or can't get to Redner's, Walmart, or Target in search of cheaper prices and better selections. The 4 stars are for the amazing employees who go above and beyond the job description, particularly cashier Brenda and Shelly from the deli.”

“Best prices on most items
Their large unfrozen pizzas are big, and the best pre-made anywhere
Same size as a large from a pizza place, but $7.49 to $8.49
If you've never been there, have a quarter to unlock a shopping cart
You get the quarter back when you push your cart in the cart place
Either take cloth bags, plastic from another store, or most people use empty boxes from items that they have out for shoppers
Go once, it's simple”

“The prices are a little high on some things but you can get good value of you come on the right days. Their produce often gets marked down for a quick sale before it goes bad, so that's a bargain of you need those items for immediate use. And they keep the produce section well stocked and always looking beautiful. They also have markdowns on their deli items at times. And you should try their fried chicken sometime! (They are known for that) The employees are usually very helpful too.”

“This store always has a great selection and variety of products! There is a friendly staff as well.

As far as their inventory is concerned, the store is laid out logically, and it is consistently stocked.”

“I was surprised they were still open, at 9pm. Sorry wasn't happy I was there to get chicken
If I read it right the chicken pack said you pay 5.80 but as I scanned it the price was 8.00 plus. I'm sorry if I had my Weis card maybe it would have been that 5.80 but as I see it if it said you pay 5.80 it's 5.80 card or not. This is why I don't shop their most the time. It was late an I need chicken for my sick dog..”

“Even the self checkouts don't work. Way understaffed with cashiers. The employees are terrific, but don't waste your time with the store manager. It's "not his fault" . He's "only been here 3 weeks" and customers are the problem. Save yourself a headache, drive to Reading.”

4.4 Superb24 Reviews

“Always helpful and friendly staff! Also, don't forget to use your Giant rewards card to get discounts on your gas! It's amazing how quickly the points add up and with today's gas prices it really helps!”

“Food is always amazing, staff is always nice, the place is always clean, and they're always so well stocked on common needs for the kitchen. Stuff I haven't seen in other mini marts or delis and grocers. I recommend.”

“Stopped in to get a few things saw they were making subs as well ordered a italian hoagie and it was the best hoagie I have had in a very long time 10/10 would recommend”

“The staff has always been helpful, courteous, and professional. If, for some reason, the doctor ordered something that was not in stock, the pharmacist would order it. Best of all, they get to know the people coming in for service.”

“Local family owned grocery store. Not many cashiers, but consider yourself a temporary employee & ring and bag your own provisions. No cash back. I frequent North End and Phoenixville store on 724.
I like their chef creations and ready-made meals for one. Alcohol like beer and wine is available for purchase but at a specific register with your ID. Don't expect to check out all of your provisions if you have 15 or more items at the beer and wine counter. I'm not absolutely clear regarding alcohol purchases & store policies since i dont drink beer or wine, Collegeville redners on 29 is awesome, too. I'll drive out of the way for their donuts. Bakers at Pottstown and Phoenixville are not as talented as Collegeville baker. . .”
