“This post is for the sweet angel working at 1am on Saturday, May 2nd. I believe her name was Karen, but I really can't remember since I was pretty sick so I am so sorry if I am incorrect. She had very long white hair and was so sweet and thoughtful when I was suffering with a migraine. I was up all night with a horrible headache getting sick but had no ice pack/aleve/excedrin/anything. I called to the front around 1am seeking any relief I could find and Karen helped me with what I needed and I was finally able to sleep. It was just so nice being met with kindness and assistance when so many people can be miserable and mean. Thank you so much once again, you were such a sweetheart and I hope that you get recognized for it.”
“My husband and I got married this past weekend and had our hotel room block at the Residence. With such a chaotic weekend, it was so refreshing to have staff that were so competent and also so kind and hospitable. Tatiana and Helen in particular were absolutely wonderful! Would highly recommend staying here!”

“Location is perfect to the airport, hotel has direct walking access to Terminal B on Floor 2! Parking direction is a bit confusing but managed to find it. Parking lot has direct access through a walking bridge to Floor 3. The executive lounge location is a bit interesting, which is behind the restaurant. Room is adequate with no complaint”
“Absolutely loved my stay! The service is outstanding, especially Anastasia st the front desk. She was so helpful and no matter how many times I had to ask a question and no matter what time she always had a positive and upbeat attitude!!! She def made the trip more enjoyable!”
“We live local but came here for a weekend get away! It is amazing. The entire staff, the room was so clean, the bed and bedding were amazing. We dined at the Triple Crown restaurant in the hotel that serves food from morning until evening. It was delicious. So nice to have a high quality hotel and restaurant close to home. A neighborhood gem!”

“It was fine. Rooms, lobby, and hallways were all clean. One elevator for a hotel that size was odd. Did not like that you could not get a cup of coffee unless you paid for one at Starbucks which is only open in the mornings. The hotel restaurant and bar were great.”

Alarm clock setting had not been turned off, so it went on (fortunately we were already up).
Could not get change for a $20 bill - it is a “cashless property.”
The shuttle was ten minutes late.”

“Easy walk from the train station, but there’s not a side walk in one spot. The gym was pretty good. Beds and pillows were comfortable. It was quiet. The breakfast was decent. They use Lyft concierge instead of a shuttle service. I think you have to pay for it, we got lucky at the prize wheel they have and got our ride for free. Not a lot of food options nearby.”
“We had our son’s graduation party at this venue, the banquet hall setup was great! They allow for outside catering which was helpful for our event. Overall a great experience. The sales team was easy to work with and helped make our event great.”

“Everyone was friendly, but the carpet was ripped up in some sections of the room and the ceiling paint was chipped above the bed. Shower was very nice, but no discernible bathroom vent. Also barn door style sliding bathroom door.”

“The hotel was a bit older, but I had no issues slept quite well actually and checked out and went back to the airport the next morning. I did want to acknowledge all the staff, due to the snow storm, AA was sending everyone here so they were slammed. The phone was ringing nonstop and there was one staff at the front desk but he checked me in quickly. I had a dinner voucher and used it at the bar and it was really good simple dinner, they did the best to accomodate everyone thus I'm giving it a 5 star.”

“Stayed here for a friend's wedding, room was nice, comfy big bed lots of outlets drawers counter space nice bathroom, chair/daybed big flat screen, actually working and fast courtesy Internet and working climate control spacious rooms.I've stayed at a lot of hotels and what set this apart was the front desk person I think her name was Sheila. She went above and beyond multiple times. Checked us in fast and smoothed out our stay multiple times being kind generous and sweet. Sheila truly was exceptional, beds and sheets more comfortable than most,Wawa being basically 150 feet away makes for added convenience.Thanks again to Sheila!!!”

“The location approximation to the airport is wonderful. Complimentary shuttle runs every 20min starting at the top of the hour- 24hrs a day. My hubby thought the bed was a bit firm and the hall carpets were stained but other than that, no issues. Would visit again.”

“I'm writing an actual review here.
Stayed for 3 nights and was a bit worried about seeing other reviews about sanitation. However, despite some scratches, cracks, chipping and some wall stuff missing, overall good value.
Hot water works super well.
Staff at the front was very, very chill.
Good area overall.
Would recommend getting better blinds though.
Especially was extremely relieved that there was no bed bugs or any critters whatsoever.
Price per night is good overall here, I would stay here again.”

“I chose the Swarthmore Inn for a one night stay because I wanted a location close to Philly without being in the city. Check in was seamless and the staff at the front desk were friendly. Our room was comfortable, clean, and very spacious. I felt safe knowing that the doors were secured after 11pm and that we could easily get in to the lobby with our key card after a night in Philly. Similarly to check in, check out was also seamless. We ate breakfast at the tavern located on the first floor of the inn and greatly enjoyed our meal. I will definitely book at Swarthmore Inn again when we head up for other shows or on game day.”
