“If you need a well managed, organized self storage unit for a good price TBG is the only way to go. From the beginning Matt has been the most helpful and respectful of all the options around. I got the 10x10 unit for a very fair price and used it for a few months until I moved somewhere with a garage and didn’t end up needing it anymore. I called to cancel my subscription and clean out my unit, and was only on the phone for 3 minutes. No hastle or pain, just a simple call and cancel. If I ever end up needing a unit again I will be going straight back to TBG.”

Backstory- I was so happy when I found this storage for reasonable price. Terry was great. I asked several questions including ***was my rate guaranteed***
I was told of course… then about 6 months in, the rates increased. I called -confused and upset- & at that moment, I’m told to read the fine print, & the rates go up about every 5-6 months, AND Corporate raises the rates according to whatever they want or “market conditions “.
The main Customer service office has indicated that during these inevitable increases, clients can call in, and find the district manager, wait for a call back, and ask for help to continue the current rate (the one that they just raised from last time- ), and maybe they can get approved to keep the rate the same for a few months-maybe not.
Other options are to move all your items in your unit to a different unit, with each rate hike, signing up for the bait and switch introductory rate on a new unit -& to move with every move with every rate increase, to stay ahead of their game.
Well, I’m out of the country and on a very fixed income, so moving my large household items is not an option. Please- BEWARE OF DECEPTIVE ADVERTISING.
Otherwise- The facility is actually very nice, super location, right by the train- the building has great bathrooms, it’s very quiet and clean- and the staff is nice, but I have not seen regular staff, regularly. Or at least in the office in the mornings. With the exception of the regular increases this is a very nice storage facility”

“The crew from Jensen packed and moved us on two EXTREMELY hot and humid days. Our upstairs had no air conditioning! Jay, James, Colin and Lee worked efficiently and cheerfully under these challenging conditions. All our possessions arrived intact and undamaged. All boxes were labeled and placed in the appropriate area and furniture was maneuvered to my liking before they left. They also came in under the estimated number of boxes and hours, saving us money. “I have had a really smooth transition with this place.
I have had some problems with hackers on my debit card and forgotten to call them, they've contacted me and not charged me extra when my card didn't go through.
My only gripe would be that they don't have a dolly cart for you to use (at any time) like many storage places I've used before. It makes it REALLY hard on my back as someone with back issues.
Also I pay extra for air conditioned storage and I found mold on some of my things this summer. There's no reason that should be.
These are the only reason I'm docking one star.
The place is clean. They have someone you can contact at any time as well.”

“Hope was the staff in the office that assisted in a major issue I encountered. Some belongings were ruined from the previous owners. Hope was the absolute best resource to resolve this dilemma quickly and way better than I ever could ask for. Looking back at today’s experience I wish there were more employees at companies that had this type of mindset to resolve customer issues so well.
