The Platinum Pooch
819 Allegheny River Blvd, Veronamy dog Oscar it was a cocker spaniel. Donna at Platinum pooch, groomed him since I rescued him 8 years ago. she was the only one Oscar would let touch him. I recommend her highly. not only a great groomer but a great friend. Oscar was put down on Monday. I'm very sad he was my buddy.

Tails of the Burgh Grooming
80 Allegheny River Blvd, VeronaI couldn’t give Tails of the Burgh enough praise! My rescue dog is very skittish and we’ve been coming here to get his nails trimmed for months. The staff here are so patient and know how to work with dogs. He looks forward to going and comes home tail wagging, which is huge for a dog that is afraid of everything. Recently he went for his first bath and the staff worked with his needs to accommodate his fear. If I could give 25 stars I would!

Pet Care

Pittsburgh Spay & Vaccination Clinic
110 Sandy Creek Rd, VeronaI want to thank Dr. Kiser for neutering my male cat Mochi last year and now doing a dental with a few extractions on my female cat Alli Jane (AJ). AJ is recovering well so far like it never happened! Their prices did go up a bit, but the cost was still reasonable overall.

Pittsburgh Spay & Vaccine Clinic: Zeglin Amanda DVM
110 Sandy Creek Rd, VeronaMuch cheaper than going to a vet, this is all they do, so it makes sense. Stitches for my girl basically dissolved over time so no return visit was needed. No complications. Talked to friends that went to their vet, they paid double, then had to return to have the stitches removed. I'll use this place for my fur babies as long as they're around.

Off the Rails Barbeque and Drafthouse
549 Allegheny River Blvd, VeronaFirst time last night. Great experience. Went specifically for the Donnie Bell band who were on fire. So kudos to off the rails for having great live entertainment consistently. Used a promotional offer which was honored without issue. I love being marketed as long as promotions are honored. No questions asked here.. effortless. No for the food..bbq is something we get a lot of in our travels and this place doesn't disappoint. Pulled pork nachos..coleslaw..pulled chicken and fries all ordered... everything tasted good..every bit of food..every flavor of the 3 sauces..mustard was my favorite..the coleslaw was tart and vinegar heavy..great contrast with the bbq...beer specials were worthy $2.50 labatt..service was as service should be..it does get crowded it seems so finding a spot could be a challenge..fire pit outside cures some of that...the only improvement needed is a different cutlery situation and more napkins on the tables. The current cutlery situation seems wasteful with the packets of multiple items that may or may not be needed in packaging..I know it's really easy but wasteful. The napkins seemed to be sporadically on tables and I didn't see like communal napkin station where you picked up the other stuff. Very very minor things but easy fixes. Can't wait to go back and will be telling everyone I know.
