“I had to bring my cat, Nala, in here on a Friday night. She was very sick and not eating or drinking. We only waited about 45 minutes before being called back. I was given an estimate up front for all the tests they would run. Turns out she was too sick to recover, and needed to be put to sleep. All her results were explained to us, and we were given options, and treatment would not have given her a good quality of life. The whole team was so patient and compassionate as we sat with this information and processed everything. We probably sat in that room for well over an hour before the process was started, just holding nala and loving on her before I had to say goodbye. I was able to hold my kitty as she took her last breaths. Dr. Hoffman (I think was her name) was so compassionate and gentle and made the heartbreaking night so much easier for us. I hate the outcome of the visit, but I'm truly thankful for the entire team that managed Nala's carw that night.”
