Wags 2 Whiskers Pet Salon

Yappy Days Pet Grooming
204 S Potomac St, WaynesboroI don't understand the negative reviews, I take my long haired cat there and we are always treated well. I trust them completely and appreciate how sweet they are to my cat. To the negative reviewers, a few suggestions: be patient and kind, never drop off your pet here or anywhere and leave, and if your pet's paw is bleeding, allow the groomer to provide a solution (instead of letting your pet sit on an expensive car seat).

Pet Care

Wayne Heights Animal Hospital
2085 E Main St, WaynesboroWe recently switched to this practice and have nothing but great things to say. One of our dogs has been very sick and not only do they treat him with care but they also take the time to answer all of our questions with the utmost patience and compassion. We don’t regret switching!

Pet Sitting & Training

Marsh Run Kennels Inc.
4191 Sheely Rd, WaynesboroFantastic dog kennel for our two poodles (toy and miniature), even for the one who suffers from separation anxiety. They both seemed so happy when we picked them up from “camp.” The owner is a wonderful person who clearly knows everything about dogs, and I knew the entire time that they were in great hands. Highly recommend, and hope to be back another time! Thank you so much!

Pet-Friendly Restaurants

Rough Edges Brewing
91 W Main St, WaynesboroCool little brewery with a lot of character. The hardwood floors creak as you walk up to a long bar, and the dim lighting with the rustic ceiling gives it a nice, laid-back vibe. The bartenders were friendly and welcoming.
The food was good—subs were packed with plenty of meat and served on a roll with some bite to it (not the overly soft bread you get at a lot of places). My daughter especially enjoyed the crab pretzel.
Seating was a bit hit or miss. I wasn’t a big fan of the high-top tables. There are a few small booths along the wall and a couple of tables with bench seating, but if you’re on the bigger side, the booths may feel a little tight. There is an upstairs, though I didn’t check it out—the staircase looked pretty narrow.
The downside: we came specifically for a pickle sandwich they were advertising for the town’s pickle festival, but were told they sold out just two hours after it started. They were also out of their pickle beer, which was disappointing. We stuck around and ate since we were already there, but it definitely took away from the experience.
Overall, it’s a decent spot. I wouldn’t make a special trip just for it, but I’d stop back during another town event—hopefully next time they’re better prepared for the specials.
