“I meandered into Dr. Tumblety’s on a whimsy and was absolutely blown away. First I was welcomed with an introduction to the stores namesake and then given a tour of a few up and coming additions including a beautiful distillery and a speakeasy called The Storyville Lounge. The speakeasy was incredibly curated with beautiful vintage decor meticulously collected. I enjoyed their Sazerac and felt transported into a different time. This is an absolutely unique and welcoming hidden gem that deserves the main stage in Pittsburgh”
“Popped into Simply You Soap & Candle Company yesterday. This gorgeous shop is a feast for the eyes and treat for the nose. Every nook and cranny is filled with colorful soaps and lotions, candles, and cloth items, hand-poured and handmade, and beautifully displayed. I felt good just being there! There is a sister store on Morganza Road, in Canonsburg, smaller but equally delightful, also a website.”
“I stepped into this shop for the first time yesterday while on a visit. I didn’t have a lot of time to explore in-depth, but I did snatch up a couple of great pieces. The organization by waist size made browsing easy, the owner was warm and polite, and the selection is top-tier. I’m definitely coming back!”
“Amazing 2 floors of unique items provided by hundreds of vendors in a clean appealing environment. Do not attempt to explore this venue in a pinch, as you will be doing yourself an injustice. Do however set aside a few hours to indulge at a leisurely pace. It is highly unlikely that you will leave empty handed, no matter what your interest.”

“Harlan and Sunny are the best!! They offer great quality repairs and the most unusual and high quality jewelry in the area. Some hand crafted by Harlan himself. I'm glad I found them a few years back. They are my go to jewelry place”
“This place has been around for a long time, and it just continues to get better with age. Four years ago I respected their offerings but couldn't find anything that suited me. Two years ago a vintage bracelet 'jumped' off the shelf at me. Today, I couldn't make a choice between all the things that appealed to me. The store was bustling. Good vibes. I worked with Evan who was more than a salesman: A curator. This place is next level.”
“Stopped by for the first time today. Even though it was a bit late in the season, they still had a good selection of herbs, veggies, and tomatoes, with varieties that more commercial places aren't selling.”
“Really fun shop! Great options for retro decor and collectable items. Every price range. Friendly and helpful proprietor. Limited hours, so check before you go.”
“Honestly the best antique jewelry shop I've been to in all of Pittsburgh they had the best pieces I've seen all one of a kind that I never seem to find like it anywhere else they were also very helpful and kind genuine people and price everything accordingly !!”
“This magical place is simply amazing. Between the endless items and the remarkable friendly staff, this place can not be any closer to perfect. We meant to only stop by for fifteen minutes or so and ended up closer to two hours.
It's located in a safe area.
There is plenty of parking on the street in front of the building. Also, across the street in a lot.
Do yourself a favor and stop by.”
“I personally had a good experience selling and getting a fair price for my autograph memorabilia. I see there was a bunch of poor reviews saying “rip off” but I called a day ahead, explained what I had/want for it. I came in the next day and negotiated and got a fair price most definitely. In and out about 5-10 minutes which is very convenient in selling old pieces I no longer wanted. I’d always want a higher price but when you’re asking stores to take your piece and flip the memorabilia on their own time I think expectations need to be reevaluated. Thanks to the store and good service.”
“Go here!! Best afternoon ever!! Bob is great. He gently made fun of my vintage Christmas finds (ie “oh yeah I throw hundreds of those away” ??????- I LOVE THIS)
Can’t describe the joy this shop and this man brought to me today!”
“Le Mix is a really fun place to walk around. The artistry in how things are displayed give me take home ideas for my own home. It has a lot of really interesting finds. I love the glassware and kitchenware in the back. There is a lower level as well. The light fixtures would be worth investing in too. They have cameras, super 8s, vintage everything, art.”
“The gentleman at Pittsburgh Plating was very helpful when we brought our very old compote in for advice. We wondered if it would make sense to have it re-plated. He knew everything about the process and took the time to let us know what's involved. His advice was to enjoy it as is, so that's what we'll do. Highly recommend this place!”
“I'm always impressed with the beautiful selection of quality Antiques to choose from. I've recently made a few purchases, and I couldn't be more happier! Always a pleasure to deal with and very knowledgeable. Thank you so much!”
“I like this store. Friendly staff, great merchandise.
I especially love the wrapping paper and ribbons. I like having them wrap my gifts and the interesting items they sell”
“Absolutely incredible store and person who runs it! He has so many hidden treasures and is willing to work with you. I got 3 late Victorian/early Edwardian artwork and mirror for only $100. My new prize possession is the framed tapestry (pictured below) and he's looking for doors, door knobs, door hinges, and other Victorian house pieces for the house in restoring.”
