“Conscience stores aren’t exactly known for being a pleasant experience but Al’s Corner provided one. There was much more than expected inside, including a vast array of homemade food options, all which looked delicious. They even had an outdoor grill with all beef hot dogs and fresh hamburgers. The service members were all super friendly. The bathrooms were tidy and they had a lot of beverage options as well. There were also a lot of adult skill machines if one was looking to play a few games. Overall, it was a lovely little stop along the way on our travels and I recommend it.”

“They have a really good meat department. Some of the sales can't be beat, $1.99 a pound chicken wings and pork chops but there's some regular groceries they are missing. Do all my meat shopping here but regular groceries at Aldi's”
“This Lil store is so convenient, especially when sometimes I forget to get cigarettes before I came home. They did not carry m cigs at one time, but after asking Omar to see if he can start carrying them he does. Great place and great people who own and operate here.”
“I have only lived here two years, I lived by Gibsonia before I moved to this area. I really like Shop N Save, I noticed that the store is neat and clean. The meats really caught my eye, you can tell that the meat is good and fresh. Deli department is great, you can actually buy a meal already made up that they wrote the price down. The bakery, rolls, fresh buns and breads are good. I imagine they have access in purchasing their meat through local farmers. I don’t usually care to shop at Shop N Saves but this one is definitely the exception, then, Cranberry Twp on Freedom Road would be my second choice. The employees at the Ellwood City store are so nice and go out of their way to help you! Really appreciate their kindness!”
“Tons of seasonings, marinades and coffees! Everything is well organized and easy to find. The ladies working the counter were both very nice and willing to answer any questions and very knowledgeable. I won't be going to Giant eagle for spices/seasonings anymore!”

“It's in the name. Pasture raised milk and cheese near New Castle Pa. Support a 6th gen farmer. Eat healthy. Chicken, pork, beef, eggs are sold from a friend of the farm. Open 4-7 Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday. Say hi to Beth for me!”
“This is probably my favorite Dollar General in and around my city. I think the employees are very friendly and helpful at all of the Dollar General stores, but it is the location that I like best. Also, I believe this is a new store. Many of the locations use buildings that were already there from other businesses closing, but this building was a new build and it shows. Very nice place.”

“I just came to say that my great grandfather David Baker built this in 1950 originally. When you'd drive up it would ding, and he'd go out and pump the gas. My uncle called it Dave's Super Service. They had old fashioned candy cases and soda coolers. They sold hunting and fishing licenses and ammo because he was a hunter. Hand written price tags with a marker and an old fashioned cash register. The home was on the top level, but there was another area behind the store on the bottom level with a kitchen and living room where we used to sit and have family meals during working hours. I loved riding tractor when he'd cut the grass, before they built over it. We used to catch lightening bugs out there in the yard. He had a lovely walnut tree and a small garden out back. I was born in 72, and the station was sold in the late 80's when my great grandparents were too old to take care of it anymore. I wished those who bought it had left some of the original charms but make it nice and nostalgic instead of making i it look just like every other generic gas station out there. Lots of childhood memories here that nobody has but me and my family. I still remember the smell. I miss it so much. Best of luck to the owners.”

“Their prices are not any higher than anyone else's and atleast the points for gas and groceries help to off the prices and the employees are always friendly and helpful. The store is clean and I think they did a very good job during Covid.”

“Just like any other D.G. store as far as merchandize but this one (Croton ave) is very clean and have friendly workers and every time I go there isn't a bunch of people in there which helps with my anxiety. I'd recommend going to this one before any other one in New Castle, Pa.”
“We’ve generally always gotten good quality food from this location. Lots of different kinds of options and categories to get. Carts are generally filled well. Lots of parking outside, and there are spots for veterans and new or expectant mothers. The only downside is how expensive the prices are. Owners take good care of the store”
“I gotta get my coffee creamer here, it's the only place I have found it, save for ordering it through Amazon. Prices are a bit higher but that's because of Biden. Meats can be a little sketchy”
“Thank you to 3 people who helped me with 2 fruit baskets for relatives after a funeral. Rose, Tanner and Vanessa, I wanted the baskets to be a little more unique than the norm. Rose went throughout the store and gathered the items I requested, Tanner in the produce department replaced fruit I didn’t want and put in the fruit I did want. Vanessa arranged the baskets beautifully. Delivery was made on time and the baskets were very nicely done. I would totally recommend this store again for any of your special needs. Also, I want To say that I’m from California and all of this was done by phone.”

“The workers are always so helpful and so nice. If you need anything they will try to help you find it or even put it in your car/truck. The crew is the best!!! They work so hard i always feel bad having them stop stocking or doing whatever they are doing to check me out but also greatful they do cause they are so friendly and kind no matter what.
