“A gentleman who works in the office is very kind and nice. He gives suggestions to reduce the box size so I can pay less!!
He works very efficiently, yet never rushes anyone. I never had to wait in the line.
I like to go this USPS office instead of one in malvern or Frazer”
“Fast and friendly, no line and parking available right out front during lunch time. I have read reviews of other local post offices that were really negative, this visit was positive and next time I need to visit the post office while in the area I will definitely go here.”
“Always a great experience. The workers are professional and uplifting. I go out of my way to come to this post office instead of the one in Exton, that is filled with rude and miserable workers.”
“The Claymont Delaware Post Office is great. Friendly employees, easy free parking and always open during posted business hours. I drive from Aston PA and pass 2 other Post Offices just to visit this one. During the past few snow storms my 2 local Post Offices were closed. Especially the Aston location which always seems to open late.”
“For business purposes— I’m required regularly to go into local post offices. Out of the many— this spot is where I prefer to go! It’s nestled out of the way so it’s not overly busy but when it is, their staff is exceptionally prompt, friendly and knowledgeable. On many occasions, Stephanie has thoroughly assisted me with international shipping woes. She is so helpful and truly the reason I am taking the time to write this review!! Give that lady a raise!! :)”
“I drive 10 minutes farther to go to this post office because it is always such a wonderful experience. It’s like walking into a lovely dream. Cheryl seems to know everyone, and everyone is friendly”
“The only post office in southeastern Pennsylvania open really early on a SaturdayI thought the website had to be a mistake but it wasn’t. Showed up at 7:00 AM on a Saturday and got what I needed done. It’s a very nice small post office.”
“I echo Tom Schaeffer’s thoughts: Very nice people and great customer service. To the knuckle dragger complaining about their "tax dollars at work". The USPS is self sufficient, their revenue is generated from postal fees. They have survived despite congress forcing them to fund 75 years of future pension payments, unheard of in the private sector. It's a national treasure that should be supported with our tax dollars if need be. Both UPS and FedEx have lost my packages in the past and I would love to see either of them deliver a standard envelope across the country, to a rural address, for 51 cents. The lowest rate they have is for a business envelope at $8.90.”
“Honey or Holly first name; sorry I forgot! But it is clerk #4 on receipt. Greeted me as soon as I walked in. Very pleasant & helpful. Could not have asked for better service. Thank you USPS!”
“This lady named Lisa is an absolute blessing to this post office. She was so kind and really helped me today. USPS needs more people like her and you would have better ratings. Maybe she should train people because she is awesome.
I really messed up my packages, but her reassuring kind voice helped calm me down and relax, so that I was able to get everything fixed.
Thank you for being a great person, and choosing to be kind.”
“I dropped off a package this morning at this location. The post office was open right on time and the postal worker couldn't have been more attentive and courteous. I asked for some fixed-rate Priority Mail boxes and he made it a point to double-check that they were fixed-rate boxes instead of just small Priority Mail boxes. We should take the time to commend people when it's warranted instead of just complaining.”
“I love this location, it’s fast and efficient, if there is a small line it always moves along quickly. In particular there is one worker who is outstanding, always super friendly and helpful. I’m always confident in the handling of my items when I see them working. Above and beyond honestly, they bring a quality level of customer service that frankly you just usually don’t ever see from a usps location or employee. Top notch.”
“Despite the odd hours, my wife and I have had great experiences at this location. They were helpful when our mail wasn't being delivered by telling us where to go and what to do. I was going to skip a package last minute and would've spent much more if the person at the counter hasn't told me about some of their other shipping options. While the odd hours can be a challenge occasionally and this location seeming to be the 7-Eleven of USPS in terms of capabilities, they've always been great and helpful.”
“A really amazing supervisor named Ian works here . Best service of any post office. Iris ( the postmaster) makes sure everything is running smoothly . She is the best around”
“Spoke to John today about a batch of returned mail that we received. He was so helpful. When I said I was unsure where the annex was, he offered to come to office to pick up the returned mail. Wow, we were so appreciative. So nice when you have a employee that goes that extra mile. Thank you!”
“Lots of confusion here with this annex and the building it's in. The entrance used to be through the front double door but it's now the single glass door to the left of the loading dock. No signage but I'm certain that the people working here do a lot to keep the mail running in this community.”
“The staff at this USPS location are friendly, compared to other locations I've visited. Chanisia in particular was very helpful and made the passport process smooth and efficient. Thank you!”
“Employee was so helpful! We dropped off 100 wedding invitations and he glanced at every single envelope to make sure everything looked ok. He was also very friendly and made the exciting moment even more special!”
“I always have a great experience at this Post Office. The staff there (Ms. Gaylen and Ivory) are always very helpful and super nice! I appreciate that I have a local Post Office close to my home.”
“Giving 4 star just because my work got done smoothly, but it took some time.Kind of a secluded place but work gets done. Staff looked quite introvert and had to wait for some time until someone showed up at the counter. But later felt like they are ok to help with queries and process for the first timers, just look like they are not happy with the job. Overall decent for a quick mail or money orders.”
“Paul is a great asset to this postal office what a stand up gentleman. Always a pleasure, happy to have him delivering to our house please give this man a raise or something.”
“While our favorite postman, Bob Hummel, has been on vacation our substitute postman Whitney has been an amazing professional friendly and sincere carrier. He even remembered every day he delivered the mail a treat for our dog who loves to greet the mailman every day with a friendly tail wag. Sure hope when Bob has a day off or vacation we are able to have Whitney. We love Bob but understand he needs a day off and vacation so when Bob can’t deliver the mail the next best is Whitney. Both men are fantastic.”

“I had an urgent document to send out, and on Saturday afternoon I drove 30 minutes to reach this post Office location before closing. Unfortunately, by the time I arrived it was already closing time, and I hadn’t even prepared the envelope and return envelope. The lady at the counter kindly waited for me for another ten minutes and even helped me correct my mistakes. I’m truly grateful for her patience and kindness.”
“I buy and sell sports cards. Any card I've mailed in any envelope always get to where it's going, whether it takes 5 days or sometimes 2 and a half weeks. Also any bubble mailer has gotten where it needs to as well. Shipped 115+ cards and counting right in the blue box outside, have yet to have an issue.”
