“Roger’s shop at Boffs Auto Service came highly recommended to us when we first moved to the Wexford/Warrendale area a few years ago, but I never had the chance to use them until recently when my car suddenly broke down and wouldn’t start. I initially thought it was just a battery issue, but it turned out to be something much more involved.

When I called, I spoke with Val, who was extremely kind and upfront that they were very busy with appointments and likely wouldn’t be able to get to the vehicle until later in the week. This happened on a Tuesday afternoon. Even so, when I dropped my car off after hours, Roger was still there working. I briefly explained the situation and let him know I was hoping for at least a diagnosis soon because I have a young baby at home and needed to make arrangements.

That same evening, Roger personally called to let me know he was trying to charge the battery enough to get the car into the shop for testing the next morning. In doing so, he discovered the issue was something more significant. Then early the very next morning, Val called with the diagnosis, explained the repair and pricing clearly, and let me know they expected to have it completed by the end of the day.

To my absolute shock, my car was repaired before lunchtime.

I truly cannot express how grateful I am that Roger expedited my repair and got me back on the road so quickly. Before hearing from them, I was genuinely panicking about being without a vehicle for one to two weeks. With a baby at home, not having transportation feels incredibly overwhelming. My husband travels for work and is usually driving to job sites during the day, and most of our family lives over 30 minutes away, so being without my vehicle really leaves us stranded.

Roger went far above and beyond my expectations, and honestly I still can’t believe how quickly they turned everything around. Huge shoutout as well to the technician, Jason, for the speed and efficiency of the repair.
