“This is the best pet store around I've been following these guys around for over 20 years they had another pet store in Monroeville they know how to take care of their pets and their customers highly recommended the only pet store I go to anywhere I'm the best part you could actually go in and play with the animals that they sell .....then if you like it you can buy it ....if not you had fun playing with them ....no pet store does that anymore”

“Royal Dutch grooming was a great experience for both my dog and myself. The entire team was kind and welcoming to us. My pup was treated with utmost care as it was only her second time being groomed. The team’s care and attention really showed in the results of my pups super fluffy and clean glowing coat. We were both very happy customers. Additionally, the entire place was clean, well kept and inviting. Royal Dutch has definitely earned a Loyal customer with us.”

“This was my first time using The Dog Stop service. I must say from my initial call to picking up my pet I was impressed. I called the day before to ask for pricing and availability. The young man walked me through the online registration process. There I was able to create an account and make an appointment because the website was user friendly. The day of my appointment the staff was super nice and took the extra time to answer questions I had. I dropped my pet off and he was ready within a couple of hours. I was satisfied with his grooming and the service I received. Also, there prices can't be beat. I will be back for sure. Great Job Team Dog Stop!!!”
“My 8# Yorkie had been injured by a groomer at the Dog Stop on Washington Blvd. I waited 3 months b4 taking her anywhere for grooming b/c I wanted to allow Lilybear to decompress from her trauma. A friend recommended Janice and despite the fact that LilyBear immediately attempted to bite Janice, Janice persevered & was able to complete a mini groom. I’m so grateful - hopefully, next time Lilybear will be a little more calm. I’ll definitely return!”

“Today my boyfriend and I took our new dog, Ducky, to the store because we want to get him socialized. He just adopted him a few weeks ago and he seems to have a fear of doors and entering new spaces. The employees saw my boyfriend and I patiently trying to help Ducky work up the courage to come inside and they all gathered by the door to help! They gave him treats and cheered him on. It was the sweetest thing ever and Ducky was able to come inside with confidence!! The employees were so extremely kind and loving towards Ducky and it made me so happy. Thank you all so much!!”

He loves the special freez-dried food and it agrees with his digestion. Always a plus with a cat that has digestive issues and is picky with his food.”

The staff, Andrea was informative, thorough, kind and efficient!! This tiny Mini Schnauzer has already made himself at home and claimed his spot! “I may be biased as I am married to Ryan, and we have known Brad for many many years, but I love this little store! Even if I didn't know them, I'm sure by the end of a first visit I would. They are both knowledgeable in many different animal care aspects. They have high quality foods, toys, litter (I want to cry when they are out of my favorite one!), treats, and more. Make sure to stop in and say hi! You may even get to see one of the visiting foster cats up for adoption!”

“The staff is always helpful and polite. My dogs love the Whole hearted dogfood with the tender shreds in the beef flavor. Had a couple extra dogs for a few days that don't care for dry dogfood but they chowed down on the Whole hearted plus without any added incentives.”

We see Dawn in grooming and she knows exactly who our little Latte is and what we want. Generally she takes her back for doggy daycamp where all of the staff know our dog by name. The entire day camp team take the time to really know the dogs and they very obviously care.

“Glynn has been servicing my 72 gallon tank for close to 10 years now. He has a wealth of knowledge that he draws from to give you the best and most appropriate service to keep your tank alive and healthy. Whatever he’s suggested has always worked. I’ve had tanks most of life and dealt with a lot of service people over the years- he’s the BEST.
My advice to anyone looking for a custom build, someone to service a preexisting tank, to add fish or anything that has to do with tanks- STOP and call Glynn- you’re done looking!”
“Finally the Petco in Monroeville has a Groomer, And she is wonderful her name is Charlie she was great with my long haired Chihuahua groomed perfect!!!! We will be back :) 12-2-2022 Took us on time and was done earlier than promised I'm so happy :) I believe the grooming dept was closed for around 6 months I have been to two other groomers in the area nothing like Petco !! Thank you for finding a good person for the job.”
“This Petco store sells merchandise such as foods, accessories, beds, carriers, toys, and hygiene products for dogs, cats, fishes, birds, rabbits, guinea pigs, and other small household pets. When I shopped in this store, I bought my cat's favorite flavors of wet foods for a typical price. The prices, however, for her dry food, toys, furniture, and litter were higher than what I could get online. The cashier did a very good job of ringing up my purchase. This Petco also offers grooming, training, veterinary services, and adoptions.”
“I am an elderly female with a very powerful Pitbull which is not friendly with other dogs. She is fantastic with people as long as they do,not try to hurt me. The trainer and floor associates recognized me immediately outside and for warned me of large number of dogs inside store. I was ready to cancel her needed rabies shot and try for another time when they very quickly stepped forward to assist me in getting the shot accomplished. Their concern and overall kindness with both me and my pet Lady was amazing and definitely not part of their job discription or my expectations. They made sure my pet was weighed then vet and assistant cared for her and gave her her needed shot in grooming are using outside entrance for me to enter. Then I went to,pay and trainer stepped forward to stay with Lady so I could go into store and do this. Great experience which I almost believed To be an impossible accomplishment that they made possible for me and my Fur Baby with as little stress as posssible. They are amazing and I definitely will continue to my food and treat purchases from them and will continue with my Petco Vital Care Premier membership. I will also highly recommend this Petco to others.”

“This is by far the best best best pet supply place in Pittsburgh. Everyone is knowledgeable and pleasant. They are a no kill refuge for dogs, cats and rabbits. The fish and fish supplies manager is unequaled in Pittsburgh - he wants your fish to thrive. They only stock top quality pet foods - no sugar or fillers. (Yes, it costs more than the addictive pet crack at the supermarket.) It's out of the way but so worth it.”
