“This is a nice Dollar General/Family Dollar alternative. It's nice and bright inside and has tons of $1 items. They have everything from juice, butter and sometimes even hotdogs all the way to bath items, baby supplies, socks, hoodies, hair supplies and candy. It's always clean and organized and the staff is very international. There aren't too many small businesses left in Philly. When I find a good one, I'd like to support them.”

“It's a new store. They moved from 1 side of the lot 2 the other side. The old DG was 2 small. They couldn't stock up the shelves cause it was way 2many items not enough space. But there new place is Hugh. Self checkout. Nice employees when u c them. Lol lol. I'm happy 4 the female mngr here. She always tryed her hardest to keep up w the old store items. She was short staffed. She was doing 3 ppls jobs at the old store. I know she's grateful 4 the new place. She always listens 2 religious music while working. She never complains either. They have name brand items w/cheap prices. I absolutely LOVE this Dollar General in Lansdowne, Pa. on Union Ave. Off Baltimore Pike. Rite pass Lansdowne post office & The Treatment Center. “Always so helpful, They have a couple of items in there that you can only find at this hair store which is another reason why I love this one so much. In and out, I wish they would expend the size of they store. Because I'm in a wheelchair and there's a lot of the store I can't access because of the store size but other than that even with the fact that there's places in the store that I can get to their always willing to lend a hand to help me get the items I need. Prices are to be expected we are pretty much the same everywhere you go not too high, not to low. Right in the middle.”

“So happy to welcome a Five Below to Newtown Square! It's a big, clean, well-lit space! I visited during their first week open this summer. They had an expanded art supplies section which I loved!!! No PHL sports team section at the time I visited but I spoke to the franchise owner and she took the feedback so she may have added (or will be adding) some of that. Most of all the standard stuff is there. It's about the size of the Morestown, NJ store.”

I actually went in here looking for coloring books for my kids and was glad to see all their aisles were fully stocked in their school and craft section. They pretty much have a lot in the store. Remember this is a box store that receives overstocked, or store closing out of business etc. items from other stores. There is a constant turnover of items. If you see something that you want or need it’s best to go & get it. Some items sell out quickly because of the discounted prices. Cashiers are always pleasant and greet everyone. “Decent dollar store. Things were organized on the shelves and they were well-stocked. The reason I went in is that I ordered something online to pick up in store. It took about 15-20 minutes to get my item that was already prepaid. While I waited I shopped around a little. I'm not sure there is a specific protocol of how to find online orders. (this was the 2nd time i ordered something to pick up and it was exactly the same experience) The person helping me had to look in multiple places to find it. I felt bad taking up so much of her time.”
