I happened to have a Sunday afternoon free so, I called this location and asked if they could do an inspection. I went in at 11:30am and they called me at 4pm to have me pick up my car. Amazing service at a moments notice when I was in need. They were super busy and still managed to squeeze me in on a Sunday. Thank you so much!!”

After 5 hours of them telling us we were next, we canceled the appt, picked up our car, and called Don's which was recommended to us by a friend. They were very nice, got us in and out so quickly, and the oil change was 25% cheaper. Def our new go-to.”

“My wife steered me to this place after reading a Len Lear piece in the Chestnut Hill Local. I picked up my SUV a little while ago, and I am so happy I now know about this garage.I was growing frustrated bringing my SUV back to the dealer, thinking that they must be "the experts" with the vehicles they sell, but they would continually disappoint, because they were either unable to diagnose what was wrong with my truck, or they when they claimed to have fixed an issue, the issue would continue. Such a waste of my time, and money.I made an appointment with Morano Brothers, and dropped my SUV off, describing what an issue I was having, that the GMC dealer couldn't figure out. I think within 24 hours they had diagnosed the problem, called me for authorization, and then 24 hours later, my truck was actually repaired.Morano Bros. are the best. It's so refreshing to deal with actual expert mechanics. They are thorough and know how to communicate.”

“Update 4/25/23: 6 years after my initial review, these guys are still excellent. Just had a hidden trailer hitch (from etrailer) fitted on my Forester. Looks beautiful, and I have the removed rear bumper beam back with me if I ever need it replaced. Awesome service, great price. It's hard as a woman to find an ethical mechanic, and Drexel Automotive has definitely won my trust and patronage. I will certainly be back for any future maintenance or repairs. Nick's partner, Will Brock tragically passed too young in a car accident in Erdenhiem.I have a low mileage 1988 Iroc that needs to be refreshed that's been sitting in my garage for about 8 years. Hopefully you guys would be interested in getting it back on the road. Don't know when we could do this but sooner than later. “As a woman, I felt the need to put a review & I'll tell you why. First, let me make it clear, KX Auto is my only auto shop. I personally will take my car there & feel comfortable. This is for the women who are looking for an auto shop.I've been going to KX since 2018 or 2019, I can't remember. These guys have solid work ethic & provide quality service to my car. They've seen both mine & my husband's car & provide fair pricing. They're the only people I trust with our car now because they've helped me troubleshoot my oil issue & they're the only ones that know what to do. Since then, I'm stuck- love this auto shop.They're thorough, explain everything to me, they'll take pictures & send it to me to show me the issue, they've given me time to make a decision if it's a big fix, I'll even do my research & try to figure out what I'm saying & what I find is that they're honest too & if I have any questions they don't make me feel dumb because I'm a woman-- I've gone to places that have made me feel pretty uncomfortable. They have seen me move through life as a single to married woman. Despite me having my husband, if I dropped off the car they'll call me & provide updates/inquire what I want to do next. I don't know about you, but I want that. I feel respected in this small way that they treat me. I don't feel sterotyped or made out to be not as competent with my car. They'll communicate with me as they do with him. Super professional & I hope they never leave the Philadelphia area or be forced out of business.Parking can be hard because they're located on Washington Ave. There's construction & a new apartment is coming in so I don't know how that'll impact accessibility to them. But, I'm going to keep coming.This is the only auto shop I’d recommend & given other reviews, that means they get booked up & busy. So, if you need something serviced, regularly like an oil change or inspection, I’d schedule it out in advance. If you’re in a bind, they’ll try to work it out & help you.My only concern is that I dont know when these guys go on vacation. Honest concern because I want this auto shop around for a long time. If they scheduled a 2 week vacation I wouldn't be mad & just schedule my services before or after.This is how an auto shop should be. I should've written this years ago!!”

“We bought a car for our 2 teenage boys. It's a 2013 ford escape, elderly owner so extremely low miles for a 10 year old car (35K). We had it for a couple weeks and the engine light came on. My husband took it to Auto Zone on Sunday just for diagnostics. They said it was the thermostat. It still needed Pa inspection done as it was registered in Jersey so my husband called Brad Smith on Monday am to see if/when he could take it. We dropped it off Tuesday evening for Wednesday service. It ended up being just the sensor and being a much cheaper repair than we thought plus inspection. We just picked it up and it's running perfect, and Brad was super nice! He got us in and done fast, was a pleasure to do business with, and didn't rip us off! We haven't used a private mechanic in a long time, just been using the dealers, but we now have a reliable mechanic will definitely be using and recommending him to everyone!!”

“I live in the area and have driven by Roanoke Auto countless times. I decided to take our Subaru there to get the state inspection stuff done and worked with Phil. From the start, he was very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, right before the appointment, we were rear-ended which caused some damage to the back of the car. Phil was still able to do the state inspection, identify some other areas that needed fixing, and complete the fix in a timely manner. He also referred us to a collision place nearby and called ahead for us. Phil earned my trust and I'll use them again next year for inspections.”
