“I adore Duross & Langel's products, I can't say enough about them! I first encountered them in the shower products a stay at the Kestrel Hotel while on a work trip. Each time I'm in the Philly area, I make sure to stop by their lovely little shop. Their soaps are my favorite, gentle and moisturizing on my sensitive skin with an array of high-quality scents and moods. I also appreciate that I can customize scents across their various products. Since I live in upstate New York, I frequently order online, and the speed on their shipping and quality of packaging is bar none. Favorite scents: taste of honey; Moroccan cedar; Eqyptian musk; oatmeal, milk and honey; little pod; and black pepper charcoal. XO”
“I've long been a fan of Ten Thousand Villages. Sometimes I find cool gifts, other times not as much. But it's always worth the stop. Product premise is richly sourced goods from around the world. .”
“I'm obsessed. Thank goodness I don't live within driving distance or I'd be there blowing my paychecks every other week. Great for students, teachers, people who journal, artists, people who like paper crafts, people who like organization, people who like witchy stuff. One look at their inventory will tell you that they have cute stuff and cool stuff and fancy stuff and funny stuff - but it doesn't show the outstanding customer service they provide. Real people work here and real people answer your emails. I ordered a set of ink chargers that came a little banged up (and one of them was nearly empty) so I emailed them and they asked for a picture of the chargers and then sent me a new one without any hassle at all. It just arrived today and it's hilariously well-packaged this time (and it is perfect) and I just appreciate how easy they made it. Love love love OfAspen.”
“Out of town but needed a personalized gift basket for quick delivery to Devon. Mia worked with me over the phone and made a beautiful basket and delivered it. My very sick friend was delighted with the items and so am I! My go to gift and basket store from now on!”
“If you're looking for a unique gift, or even something for yourself, this is the best place to go. Super friendly and helpful staff. Time and again, I find the perfect gift - for kids and adults.”
“Really awesome spot to pick up gifts! I stopped by because of the cute Gritty plush in the window but there's so much more than that. Housewares, candles, jewelry, toiletries, and kids stuff... I like their selection of BAGGU and Blue Q. Staff are helpful and can do gift bags. Items are affordable too. My boyfriend's mom loved what we picked for her!”
“I went there today for Chocolate covered strawberries and had a great experience I ordered the pumpkin cheesecake also it was so good and the lady who worked in there was so friendly and polite I will definitely return to this location again”

“VIX has wonderful locally made crafts. The vibe is warm and company. The store is open (Dec 14, 2020), but you'll have to be buzzed in because the owner is only letting a few customers in at a time.”
“If you don't love Art Star, you don't love cats. Or local artists. Or Philadelphia.Charming corner shop at the Bourse with an assortment of art and clothing from artists near and far.Worth a visit! And if you're too far away, they've got a website which you can place your orders on.Credit accepted.”
“This shop was awesome. Right in the city center and Tina the owner personally took perfect care of us. I was on FaceTime with my wife and tina was helping me pick out shirts and hoodies. Tina was a breath of fresh air. She has a small business that she loves and just wants to make people happy. Me and my buddy felt so welcome in such a different city. So if you ever visit Philly this is a MUST. She also taught us some history of the city.”

Lower Level, 933 Arch St, Philadelphia“Cute tiny shop. Tons of adorable stationary and children’s gifts to choose from along with clothing and what appeared to be tailoring services towards the back.”
“You don't need anything in here but you will definitely want one or two random things - tote bags, thank you card, cocktails mixes, candles, pillows, purses in the shape of a carton of popcorn... This is the perfect place to find a unique gift for someone, (especially if that someone likes pink) ... Including babies, every time I come in here it seems the baby section has expanded. I don't go all out in here because the stuff is a little pricey but it's a fun store to browse. It's more spacious than it looks, I see people maneuvering strollers no problem.”
“The most burgundy place on the face of the Earth! I love it! Philadelphians love the color burgundy! You will find more burgundy per square inch in this store than any place else. Ever! You love burgundy? Then this is the place to be! Congratulations to the Philadelphia Philles on being the most burgundy team in Major League Baseball history! And congratulations to the fans of the Phillies, the most burgundy fans baseball could possibly know!”

107 S 13th St, Philadelphia“This store has lots of great Philly themed gifts. I’m from the area and came back for a conference- coming here made me homesick and this place has all the perfect gifts to bring back.”
“Such a cute shop and the customer service was stellar! My partner and I saw a cute, crocheted seagull we loved last year in the window but weren’t able to stop in then. We spotted it this year and bought it for our apartment! Great spot to buy gifts for your loved ones”
“This is the best place to get whatever you need for African apparel. My wife and I came from New Jersey to Philly to shop and have wedding apparel made for our wedding. Mr Sandaga made us feel at home and he assured us that he would have it made and fitting right and he absolutely exceeded our expectations, our wedding was the talk of the Town, very elegant and beautiful. People were in awe as we took the stage at the church saying that we look absolutely gorgeous. Kudos and a huge Thank You to Mr Sandaga and his excellence. He has everything, every pattern and color you can ever want. You must go to see Sandaga'a African Wear, You Will Not Be Disappointed, You will Be Glad That You Did. Again, Thank You Sandaga.”
“What a great shop! They have a wonderful selection of gifts, including things for adults, kids, and babies. They also have a wonderful selection of locally made gifts (only place I've ever seen Bryn Mawr-themed items!) and Philadelphia sports-themed items. I got all my holiday shopping done in one stop! I also got to meet Eric who was wonderful, and he helped me pick out the perfect gift for my mother. I was also glad to hear about the wonderful work the shop supports. Their new space is beautiful and welcoming; I can't recommend this shop enough! Of note, their address in Yelp is incorrect. They are now located at 814 W. Lancaster Ave (right down the street from the Bryn Mawr film institute).”
“I've been coming to Foreign Bazaar since the late 80's for silver earrings (that the employees kindly make into clip ons!), and dark Patchouli oil.I mix the oil with lotion and I swear, I've had people come up to me numerous times to compliment the scent.”
“My all time favorite boutique in the neighborhood! Maureen, the owner, has the best taste and keeps really cute things in stock. Whenever I need a little gift for someone (or myself) I know I can find it! To top it off she's really friendly, and always up for a chat. It is really nice to be able to shop local and we are lucky we have a boutique like Sweet Magnolia in the neighborhood.”

“Been to the Independence Visitor Center several times while in town for weekend trips. Gift shops inside, Phillies Phanatic, Rocky and Ben Franklin statues to pose with... Great place to get some souvenirs while in town. Staff in the shops are friendly and helpful. Restrooms are available too.The is an info desk as well in case you want to know what tours or popular sites or things to do while in the city.”
“My 2nd time here and won’t be the last. I wound up spending way more on Black Friday but got so many gifts unexpectedly. It was so much fun shopping here. All the workers are great and pleasant. Even offered to wrap a gift. Last but not least, the “homemade cookies “ were amazing. I must have had about 5. Thanks for a great store.”
