“My wife and I were displaced by a fire and because of that, we stayed here for 4 weeks. The hotel stay was one of the best we've had. Your staff is also some of the most friendliest staff we've encountered as well, especially Teddi and Michele. They were very caring and made our stay as pleasant as possible during a very difficult time. Thank so much!”

“If you're looking for a hotel for your wedding, this Hampton Inn was a perfect choice! Our wedding was at Historic Ashland in Wrightsville so it was a quick ride from the hotel. I absolutely loved working with Cindi to coordinate our room block. She was so helpful and lovely every time we communicated. Plus, if you get 15 rooms booked, you can upgrade your own room to a suite - which was a great perk!”
“They vacuum the hallways a lot which I find rare at other hotels. They do allow dogs. HBO is free. Alot of truck noise from Rt 30. They have a nice breakfast variety.”
“The rooms were great the beds were great the front desk service was great the breakfast was not so great, we have stayed at other Wingates and this one was sub par on their breakfast the hot breakfast was not so hot the eggs were cold along with the sausage links that they served every day and they didn't keep the breakfast filled but seemed like when they ran out they were out no matter how many guests they had one disgusting thing was the yogurt instead of individual servings they had one big bowl not even sure that would pass a health inspection it was such a let down after the nice rooms good beds and good front desk service not sure I would stay here again because of this.”

“This was a personal trip that was close to the hospital. The staff here was so helpful and incredibly kind. They went out of their way to make you feel welcome and to accommodate you. I had to cancel at the last minute on one occasion because of surgery glitches, and they told me just to give them a call when we would be back and they would take care of us. The room itself was not bad at all, and the location was prime.”

“I was part of a large tour bus group. Our room was in great condition and well taken care of. Breakfast was very, very good and the hotel service staff were very friendly. My only complaint is that the machines in the workout room were not in good condition. The noise from the highway did bother some in the group, but it didn’t bother me.”

“It seemed to have just been renovated, so the carpets and furniture were clean and it was very quiet.
However, when I tried to turn on the heating, it was broken.
What a shame.
There is a microwave and refrigerator in the room.
There is a strange smell around the front desk.

“the rooms are filthy. hole in the sheets and the people who are supposed to clean don’t do their job right. ON TOP OF THAT there were RATS. yes RATS climbing everywhere. when i addressed this to the front desk person all he did was give me a mouse trap to assemble myself.”
“I recently stayed here 2 nights. Staff at the front desk was friendly and responsive, and the room was extremely clean and comfortable. There are plenty of shopping and entertainment options close by, and the all night done across the way is phenomenal. The A/C was a little bit loud, but not enough to negatively affect my stay.”

“This is a very clean and friendly hotel. The lobby is clean and well stocked with snacks info and drinks, including complimentary hot beverages. The staff is great. We didn't stay for breakfast but it looked to have a lot of options. Our room was clean and comfortable. I would recommend.”
