“I was driving past this location and stopped in to get my groceries. My first time in this location. I really don’t know why the newer IGA’s have their stores designed like a corn maze. I walked two kilometres and still didn’t find everything I wanted. Certainly the produce was fresh, but I gave up trying to find fresh chicken. Lots of other meats, cheeses, and , of course, aisles of beer and wine and coolers and beer and wine…….nice staff, friendly and very efficient at the check-out. Lots of parking with several handicap spots near the door. Store is definitely wheel chair accessible but you will be putting on the miles! Good products if you ever figure out the floor plan.”

“This store is the cleanest store in the area and my compliments go to the Viau family. The produce area as you enter is always nice and fresh and the service is exceptional and helpful. The shelves throughout the store are always well stocked with a good assortment of local Quebec products and just about everything you need for your households. The cashier area does slow down sometimes depending on the time of day but that is expected. All that said the owners, the Viau family, deserve a hats off for all the hard work and planning that goes into a well setup and efficient grocery store. ? Mega.”
“Apart from the service, great place. They have everything there, for reasonable prices. Everything is easy to find, and they even make their popcorn. In one of the freezers, there are even little sandwiches that taste great. For the service....they are normally quite rude. A lot of the time you see the owner yelling at the phone outside of his shop. But it is a convenient area. I go here regularly.”
“Actual humans work at this store. I’ll never set foot in Maxi because it’s a stressful experience, but I actually enjoy shopping here and not feeling like cattle. Prices are not higher, especially if you shop the sales. Love love love the staff who work here and the overall shopping experience.”

I order 2 baskets for a special occasion , they really took the time to listen to my needs, requests and budget . They even went the extra mile in providing cotton napkins utensils and plates and wine glasses.
I didn’t just get 2 big baskets I also received to small ones all within my budget.

I called for a fruit basket for delivery from Alberta to be delivered in Chateauguay, by the time I called back in 5 min because i thought i forgot to give my name they had already contacted the recipient. Also I was able t o add a few extra special things to the basket to make it special for my nephew. Loved this Service and their patience as i explained what i needed. Love the service!!”

I am going there tomorrow as I just checked the flyer and there are many things well priced that I need or will pick up for my grandchildren.
