“The Munster Munch are well worth the trip. Too bad you don't have Fuzetea, on the other hand... I would also have liked to find Harry's brioche bread with chocolate chips, Liebig 10 vegetable velouté, chocolate Cracottes, Boni vinaigrette with chives, Coco Pops, whole grain Cracottes, strawberry syrup, Mortuacienne lemonade, low-fat Andros compote... Then, things from refrigerated grocery stores, like Danettes and Flambly, but I'm aware that it's complicated For transport. In any case, very happy to have a French grocery store! ?”
“The meat is almost always exceptional, and in the worst case, it remains "only" very good haha! The place often has interesting specials, and the variety of vegetables is always nice and fresh. I've never had a bad experience shopping there.
In addition, there is a nice selection of bulk snack foods and Quebec beers. We love this place!
Photo of a meal prepared with 100% Red Roof products. Enjoy your food !”
“I really love this place , the store is is so well distributed and it looks a happy place to shop . I was able to get a products from various south America countries”
“Super clean.
Nice Staff. (Bilingual)
Not one of their biggest stores.
Limited individual meals.
Was hoping to get individual lasagna.
Apart from the Selection its a great store, good staff, super clean.”
“Maxi is always a great stop for groceries. The vegetables and fruits are consistently fresh, the store is clean and well organized, and the staff is friendly and helpful. A reliable place for everyday shopping.”
“I liked the freshness of the products, the cleanliness of the place and having enough space to move around. A nice place, but I was expecting more products that you can't find elsewhere though. It takes a long time at the checkout when there is only one open, you don't have to be in a hurry.”
“I was pleasantly surprised by the Metro! I bought strawberries while we were on a road trip and was able to wash them right there — they have large sinks available. I rinsed them quickly, and we enjoyed them on the road. So convenient! ??”
“Nice grocery store. Good choice of products. Several organic products. President's Choice (PC) products are generally superior to others. Lots of staff and generally little waiting”
“For everyday groceries this is a good place. The store is clean and the prices are reasonable (as are all Metros). The layout is a bit odd compared to others, but it works.”
“Le lieu est propre et la majorité du personnel est courtois. Les aliments sont frais et habituellement, la disponibilité des articles est grande. Je mets 4 étoiles car ils ont fait disparaitre les croissants au fromage, de plus les viennoiseries sont vendues maintenant en paquet de 4 taxables quand avant il y avait des paquets de 6 non taxables.”
“Good prices, lots of people, we have to pack our order ourselves, hence their low prices. Lots of house brands (just like other banners, but much cheaper than IGA. Always nice to go there.”
“Je trouve que les sections sont toujours bien approvisionnées, très belle quantité de fruits et légumes et ils ont toujours en stock les spéciaux annoncés. Petit bémol au niveau des employés qui prennent la largeur d'une rangée au complet pour travailler les commandes <pick-up> et qui ne te laisse pas passer même quand tu attends derrière eux...”
“Wow! I am very happy to have done my grocery shopping at Provigo. I was passing through the area, I'm in Saint-Hubert, so I stopped to buy a few items and finally I did a complete grocery store. Lots of new products that aren't available elsewhere, big organic section. Very clean, I will go back.”
“I love iga..its beautiful and everything is fresh but there's young cashier there doesn't speak English and was very rude to me and actually mocked me.. this is sooo sad and makes me feel bad when I go there...very unpleasant...funny thing is I speak little French but I guess not enough for her.Having said that...I know thru my canadian husband that pepin family would not be happy with this behavior which is poor customer service.. I will continue to shop there since it's great store but I will try hard to stay away from this cashier.. maria”
“Good prices, I leave with a lot of stock for $300 with discounted items. Fruits & vegetables aren't always great. It's worth tasting before buying (if possible, don't bite into a cucumber and then put it back on the rack!)”
“(Translated by Google) Nice selection of microbrewery beers. There is no more restaurant though.(Original)Belle sélection de bières de microbrasserie. Il n'y a plus de restaurant par contre”
“Beautiful, well-maintained grocery store. There is no choice of utensils or various equipment like at Maxi et Cie, but the place is clean and the prices competitive. Customer service is good!”
“Nice store for discount priced goods. Lots to choose from. We enjoy getting kids snacks (bars) from here. I’ve read they are equivalent to the “no brand” stores of Toronto.
Easy place to shop and the self checkout area was pretty simple.”
“Nous avions découvert cette chaîne de magasin il y a 2 ans lors de notre voyage. Nous y sommes retournés pour les courses, toujours autant de choix et de produits variés.. les tarifs ne sont pas excessifs...jetez un coup d'oeil au rayon "bières" , ça vaut le détour...”
“Really my best place for my grocery shopping, the choice and excellent full of items that I can't find elsewhere as well as very good service! Thank you IGA extra Lambert.”

“I was pleasantly surprised
It’s not usually one of my go to grocery stores
Fruits and vegetables were very nice
Lots of specials
La Cage wings were 50% discount !”
“Great for all your groceries. Fresh meats, fresh fish, fresh daily bread. Butchers know their stuff! They have some of the best Sterling steaks including t-bones and ribeyes!
Plenty of parking plus indoor parking for those rainy/snowy days! Oh, and my truck can fit in the indoor parking 6.8’ of headroom and I need 6.7´for my pickup truck, so I am a Happy shopper!
They also have daily hot lunches available!
The staff are mostly all smiles, professional and polite! Good job guys, Great service!!!!”

“The perfect place to get quality fruits & vegetables. I love being able to find fresh seasonal produce straight from the area. The prices are very affordable.”
“Nice grocery store, very clean. (Relatively) reasonable prices for the variety of products offered. Wide variety of excellent quality prepared and ready-to-cook meals”
“Always clean and specials are always available staff available the prices are often extremely competitive for me who studies the prices before shopping They are often my choice”
“The best maxi ever visitedLarge aisles, clean, and above all an excellent variety of fruits and vegetables. To my great surprise, I found okras, bamia, or Greek horns if you prefer, a vegetable that I really like and hard to find even in Montreal.Sugar canes and so onNice staff too”
“It has its ups and downs. Stock is an issue. They always have way too much of things that sit around forever and not enough of things that sell very well. For example, Como frozen pizzas come in 4 types and the same kind I'd always sold out, All Dressed, week after week after week, but you know what there's a lot of that I never see being sold? Cheese, Margherita and Sweet & Spicy.. dozens of them week after week, and very rarely are there ever any All Dressed pizzas. If I am understanding correctly, the ordering of stock is done in tandem/by a system (A.I) in recent years instead of having actual people ordering what is needed, so I can only assume that's what causes issues here.
Stock issues aside, the store itself is clean, the employees that have come and gone over my 25 years shopping here have for the most part, all been very kind, attentive and competent at their jobs. The store also has the best prices in town so that's a plus.
One minor annoyance is how they stop selling/verifying Lotto tickets at 9PM almost every single night of the week when they are obligated to keep selling them until 10:30PM or closing time, whichever comes first (in this case their closing time is 10PM) and they don't do that. I worked in retail for 10+ years and we were obligated by Loto-Quebec to sell until 10:30PM and it is clearly explained in the Terms of Service from mandatory training that every employee is required to complete. If you want to buy/scan tickets prior to 9PM, you'll be fine, but after that, they stop selling/scanning tickets even on jackpot draw nights.”
“I have visited several IGAs in my life and they all have a certain level of quality, this one is no exception. The products are fresh and the service is very good. I don't like the layout, it's much better than other grocery stores I've seen but not the best organization.”
