“We appreciated the kindness and extra effort the serveur made to accomodate someone in our party with many dietary restrictions. The food was excellent and very creative.”
“Who knew the best Asian restaurant in Québec is disguised as a grocery store!
I am thoroughly and surprisingly impressed!
For such a small store, it has so many classic essentials that even bigger stores don’t, and amazing kitchen!
Me and my roommates live around the corner for many years and pass by dozens of time each week - somehow today was the first day I tried it ? oh I have been missing out.
(Background: I was born in Asia, lived 15 years there. Also 20 years in Toronto and Montreal, familiar with most of their stores and restaurants before pandemic)”
“The products are varied and of high quality. The prices are fair for the ethical value of the products. The staff are helpful. The place is clean and well organized.”

“Selling halal products and other items imported from Maghreb countries and many others, there is also a small fast food restaurant inside for those who want to have a bite to eat.
There is also a corner right next to it (friterie 440) where you can find the same items but no catering.”
“As always, when we are on vacation in the Quebec region, we always stop to stock up at Panier Extra. The fruits and vegetables are beautiful, fresh and inexpensive, all of them are inexpensive and of good quality. There's always a little something we don't need”
“My favorite neighborhood grocery store! Everything is perfect! Organic, gluten-free products, cheeses, fruits and vegetables, breads, meats, prepared meals… and with great service!”
“Eeeeeee wow. I am greeted at the door. A sincere greeting. Each employee I met greeted me with a huge smile and the icing on Sunday, the same young man who greeted me at the entrance offered to accompany me to the car with an umbrella. Never seen that. The young cashier was super friendly
Well done to all the team”
“Small grocery store where you can find a little bit of everything. Quick meals, rice/pasta, snacks, breakfast essentials, sandwiches (which can be reheated), canned goods, drinks, soaps, some pastries too.
Very few vegetarian choices in fast meals and absolutely none in sandwiches, however.
Otherwise it's really very cute, the seller is more comfortable in English and he is very friendly with a big smile.”
“Je suis un peu déçu de la boucherie, cela fait deux fois que demande du bœuf haché mi-maigre au contoir service, on me donne du bœuf mi-maigre comme j'ai demandé, mais on me le fait au prix du bœuf haché maigre qui est plus cher et que le mi-maigre était en spécial en plus, il n'y aura pas de troisième fois.”
“The service is good, the store is very well stocked, I can find the Latin products I need, highly recommended, you will surely find the products from your country, ten out of ten!, Don Walter is always so nice and Doña Claudia is always so pretty.”

“Superb shop!!!Many choices, always attentive to customer needs, perfect service ?Always smiling with always very fresh and very good quality products, a delight ?Very easy to access with parking”
“A bit of everything and nothing for often much cheaper than in the supermarkets, you still have to be careful, everything is no longer 1$ like it was several years ago.”
“i stopped grabbing produce at grocery stores ever since discovering this market. it’s very fresh but it doesn’t always have everything I need hence the 4 stars.
i think its mostly busy on sundays, from what ive noticed that’s when they restock and also likely because everyone is home that day so i try to avoid going on sundays now
super great place and amazing prices compared to produces at groceries”
“Unexpected, but absolutely thankful. An old, famous, restaurant turned into an exceptional grocery store specialising in Persian (Iranian) goods. The restaurant decor is preserved, the foodstuffs are comprehensive. The boxes of pastries and cookies (aka sweetmeats, biscuits) are wonderful with their scented Iranian heritage. Don't walk pass this magical store where old and new are balanced equally and successfully.”

“Local business which is very appreciated! There is a wide variety of products and it is always clean, other convenience stores should follow their example.
The staff is friendly and helpful”
“I would like to commend the following people for their responses and extremely professional service. Here are your employees who were remarkable in helping me with the preparation of a buffet.
Danielle Lafrance at the delicatessen, Sophie service manager and Nathalie Caumartin at the bakery.
Congratulations to your beautiful team ?”
“Purely. Courteous service. The offer is much better than in the European Lidl or Kaufland. What should be particularly emphasized is the high quality of the meat, which is unheard of in Europe!!! (On such a scale).”
“I loved the sushi. I was really impressed. These are the best I've eaten so far.
There is a huge selection. There is something for every taste.
I was really lucky because I didn't have too much trouble crossing the street with my vehicle. It was quiet on the road.”
“Pretty good grocery store. Offers quite a big variety of things and they probably have what you are for. The only reason im not giving it a 5/5 is because the atmosphere seems a bit crowded and I would describe it as “Grey” For me when something is “Grey” it means there is no emotion and no colours, it’s not a flashy store. 4/5”
“Neighborhood grocery store with a butcher, a bakery, local products and employees who have been members of the team for a long time and are super friendly ✨✨✨”
“At Marché Bon Pasteur, you can find everything if you want to eat well and at affordable prices.
Take a trip there and you won't regret.
One word: keep going!”
“Good bread from Borderon, good dairy products from La Chaudière and high-quality, organic, local and seasonal vegetables all year round! Prices are sometimes high but very good offers or prizes are there to compensate.”
“I look at the negative comments from people who speak against the electro fest, while these same people are probably going to the summer festival. Residents of the Jean-Talon area hear music 2 weekend evenings and are offended, while residents in the FEQ area hear it 11 days of the time.
So go out on your balcony, dance on your patio with your children and take advantage of the fact that your area is lively for once. It changes the place and it hurts no one! :)”
“Very friendly and helpful bilingual owner! Found a nice selection of wine, beer, and cider inside along with snacks, bread, chips, and paper towels. Accidentally used my credit card for an item worth less than $5, but the owner smiled at me and told me it was fine, probably because I can’t read French. Credit cards are accepted here for purchases greater than $5 I believe according to a small sign posted near the cash register. Excellent prices as well compared to convenience stores located in the walls of Old Quebec City, would highly recommend to anybody looking to get some items during the evening.”
“I loved it there.the people were nice,& so we're the products.they even offer the money transfer ria which is quite useful.
I recommend a visit to everyone & Godbless to all those working there!!!!”
“Very clean and very well organized, spacious supermarket. Large parking lot. PMR access. Automatic doors and barriers. Competitive price. Products in abundance. Staffed checkouts, quick checkouts.
The only downside is the lack of choice in certain product categories.”
