Very few vegetarian choices in fast meals and absolutely none in sandwiches, however.
Otherwise it's really very cute, the seller is more comfortable in English and he is very friendly with a big smile.”

i think its mostly busy on sundays, from what ive noticed that’s when they restock and also likely because everyone is home that day so i try to avoid going on sundays now

“Very friendly and helpful bilingual owner! Found a nice selection of wine, beer, and cider inside along with snacks, bread, chips, and paper towels. Accidentally used my credit card for an item worth less than $5, but the owner smiled at me and told me it was fine, probably because I can’t read French. Credit cards are accepted here for purchases greater than $5 I believe according to a small sign posted near the cash register. Excellent prices as well compared to convenience stores located in the walls of Old Quebec City, would highly recommend to anybody looking to get some items during the evening.”
“Unexpected, but absolutely thankful. An old, famous, restaurant turned into an exceptional grocery store specialising in Persian (Iranian) goods. The restaurant decor is preserved, the foodstuffs are comprehensive. The boxes of pastries and cookies (aka sweetmeats, biscuits) are wonderful with their scented Iranian heritage. Don't walk pass this magical store where old and new are balanced equally and successfully.”
“I look at the negative comments from people who speak against the electro fest, while these same people are probably going to the summer festival. Residents of the Jean-Talon area hear music 2 weekend evenings and are offended, while residents in the FEQ area hear it 11 days of the time.
So go out on your balcony, dance on your patio with your children and take advantage of the fact that your area is lively for once. It changes the place and it hurts no one! :)”
