“I pulled in to make a phone call.I have gased there often. The pump area is always tidy. I pay at the pump as I am physically impared. The odd time I need to wait for another vehicle to finish before I can pull up to fuel.”

“Amazing service, I’ve been going here everyday for the past 5 years and they feel like friends to me. The brothers always at least pretend to find my jokes funny and the counter staff ALWAYS give me a personal experience. It feels like cheating when I have to get gas somewhere else, it’s just not the same. And they always treat my mustang with so much care! Good people, good service. Highly recommend!”

“My go-to stop and shop and fuel up place. They have everything you need for your convenience. The staff for me has always been friendly and courteous especially the owner. They have a great selection of beer to wash down that delicious pizza supreme. They recently renovated their fuel stations. ?☺️”

“This place is so friendly, it feels like a community hub of sorts. The owner is always around and smiling, and the staff are always friendly. My only complaint is that the prices are difficult to find or missing entirely in the beer fridge.”

“Bishop H. helped me put my wiper back together after he noticed it was falling apart (it was installed incorrectly). Very helpful and cheerful fella. Gas not as expensive as I thought it would be as well. Would recommend this place”

“This is my local Petro Canada. It's at the southeast corner of Carling and Maitland. There's an Esso at the northeast corner. They are competitors, and I pretty much go to whichever one has the lowest price, unless I need a car wash, then I go to the Esso because this Petro Canada does not have a car wash. If you are going northbound on Maitland or eastbound on Carling, it is easy to access this Petro Canada, otherwise it's a bit of a pain, and it's much easier to just go to the Esso, lol. I guess this is why they can both co-exist at this corner. This Petro Canada is small. The convenience store attached is tiny. There's no slush machine. It's just chips, gum, chocolates, etc. I'm pretty sure they also sell lottery tickets and cigarettes, but those are things I never buy. I pretty much just buy gas and go, so it's definitely good for that, haha!”

“Gas is always cheaper!Gotta love a place where you just have one type of gas and pay after in side. Call me old fashioned. To be fair, I say this after the previous places system was so screwy that I went here!”

“Memories and memories of yesteryear is here when you walk in. The place is like walking back in time by 50 years. Inside is modern enough to have a Tim Hortons's so you can get a mixed sense of reality here. The prices are fair and the staff are top notch and know the city fairly well.”

“I needed $2 to use the air machine, a nice employee gave it to me! Compare to another station where the employees refused to move their cars which blocked access to the machine, the service was excellent!”

“Competitive prices, and I was able to get in and out quickly.I do all of my transactions at the pump, so I cannot comment on the service inside the ESSO station.”

“Good prices here, a friendly atmosphere, and the attendees are chill and always on those international calls, one bathroom so during rush hours it can be long waits.”

“I purchased a standard tier wash because I know most automotive car washes don't do a great job of removing all the extra wax that comes with the premium wash. Note: I also choose the toutchless wash because it doesn’t hurt the paint. It did a great job of removing all of the corrosive salt that comes from ottawa roads. I'd suggest the toutchless option if you want a clean wash and don't need a deep clean from driving on dirt packed roads.”

“Always extremely friendly with a smile, the two brothers that work here are genuinely great at customer service, I go out of my way to stop at this station because of it. Thanks always giving great service!!”

“Touchless car wash. Definitely the way to go if you don't want your car to be all scratched up because of the brushes. Due to the fact it's touchless, the results aren't perfect but definitely decent. Always a big lineup and high waiting times”

“Very convenient location, very close to all amenities. The staff was very helpful. And the toilet was very clean, honestly, I was not expecting.Pump one took quite some to fill my car tank, very slow no idea why.”

“The Bank and Catherine station staff here and manager went way above and beyond helping to locate a lost wallet. This included calling around, checking video tape and following up. The manager was amazing ands so thoughtful. Just when all hope was lost the wallet was located. All credit and gratitude to the staff. Thank you.”

“It still has the pin holder to hold the gas lever! You rarely see this in most gas station in the province. I can clean my windows while the gas flows. I have no idea why most stations removes this function. Protect this station at all cost!!!”

“Difficult to get into right now, with construction just out front - and being rush hour, it was horrible getting there! - but at $1.519, this was the best price anywhere, even better than in Prescott, which has generally been the best price for the past year!! I ended up filling up, and I'm so glad I did!!It's a tiny gas station, with only 4 pumps (if I remember correctly), but it's on a corner, with entrances/ exits from both streets. I paid at the pump; so easy! It was way easier to fill up and get going than it was to get here in the first place, which took about half an hour instead of 10 minutes, due to the volume of traffic at rush hour, and the construction. This was a good visit, and I'd go back. Thanks to Gas Buddy app for pointing this site out!”

“This Petro Canada is located at the corner of Baseline and Clyde. The prices are usually a bit lower here than gas stations a bit further north along Carling, even the Petro Canada at Carling and Maitland, which is not that far away. The store that's connected to this Petro Canada is not that big (like say the one at Innes just west of Tenth Line, which is so much bigger). There's no slushie machine or anything like that. Just over-priced snacks and bottled/canned drinks, lol. And of course lottery tickets and cigarettes, although these are two things that I never buy. The only things I ever buy at gas stations are gas and slushies, haha. I like the convenient corner location, so depending on how heavy traffic is in what direction, I can exit going northbound on Clyde or going eastbound in Baseline. Note that you cannot go the opposite way (i.e. you cannot exit and turn directly south on Clyde or west on Baseline). Hey, it's a gas station, not too much to say, but I like that the prices are usually low for the area and the location is convenient for the direction I usually want to go after gassing up.”

“The price is a little bit lower on Montreal Rd., Ultramar. But other than that the service is good and it’s right on the Rideau Street so I can’t complain. Sometimes there’s some weird customers around this gas station but it’s part of being in that neighborhood. Would recommend this place just because it’s a gas station and you need to fill up.”

“I’ve stopped here often to use the ATM. I’ve always found the service friendly and helpful. But yesterday’s experience was over the moon. I’d extracted my not inconsiderable amount of money from the machine, and gave into the temptation to buy a chocolate bar, making a joke with the clerk about old ladies eating too much candy. I left, got home and found I had failed to put my several hundred dollars in the wallet I normally use. You can imagine my panic. I phone the store. I spoke to Skander. He remembered me and was relieved I’d called because I had dropped the money and he found it after I left. He had it there waiting for me. What a way to have your faith in humanity confirmed. Thank you Skander. Your boss and all your customers are lucky to have you.”
