“Everything here is very cheap—sometimes just a third of the prices at Home Depot or Rona! I was lucky I did a big renovation project when this store happened to be the closest to my home, which saved me a ton of money. My wife jokes that I'm practically a shareholder of Canac—hahaha!”
“I am doing a lot of renovations and I need specialized products on a regular basis. Lately, I repainted kitchen cabinets and replaced the hinges. Finding the correct hinges was difficult as Home Depot had led me to buying the wrong ones. Gabriel from Azores took the time to understand what I needed and ordered the correct hinges from Richelieu. The hinges were delivered the next day as his chauffeur picked up the item at the warehouse. Service is simply extraordinary and makes Azores stand from the rest. It is an old-style family business and all the people I talked to were friendly and very helpful (Merci Paolo!). I highly recommend AZORES if you are looking for a hardware store and especially if you need advice as to what to buy.”

“When visiting the store for a hammer drill purchase, had great service from the salesperson at the Ste Catherine store. He was also knowledge about flooring. Knowledge and great customer service win every time. I love buying local when able. The cashier, 517, was also very friendly and customer oriented. I will continue shopping there even though I live 14km away and closer to other big box hardware stores.”

“Even though the two clerks in the front were too busy to be helpful & couldn’t tell me where D section in isle 11 was, the clerks at another location inside the store were great, looked up the part number I had from the internet and gave me directions to the other store Rona NDG where part would be found in their section D in isle 11. And I took bus 90 west of Cavendish to the 7000 block. This is the second time I have been at this store and the first time I also got a part number from the internet, clerk was very nice & found it for me. In this store don’t waste your time waiting for clerks too busy too help, since store wasn’t busy, find a clerk who will help, especially if you need to catch bus to the go to other store. The Rona catalog system that retrieves parts you need to improve your life, over the internet, is not too good to be true. The system is excellent & real.”
