“The best comic book shop in Montreal, hands down. Emilio and Frank are incredibly nice and kind and you will feel welcome and cared for. Make sure to follow the store on instagram for weekly updates on what’s coming every Wednesday. One of my absolute favorite places in Montreal.”
“Perfection!+ Helpful kind service+ coffee shop next door+ also sells a small selection of cute stickers and other book lover type things thay are good for gifts (but it isn't taking over the book shop like how indigo does now)If you're intellectual, woke, 2SLGNTQIA+ (or ally) or just want to support a independent book shop with lots of English selections, I highly recommend it!Also has a hint of a calming not invasive pleasant smell in the shop unlike the big corpret floor cleaner smell big book shops sometimes have. Seems like a low volume atmosphere, so ideal for auditory hypersensitivy individuals”
“Super cute library! The woman at the counter suggested some poetry books from local artists and i ended up buying 2 poetry books. They are known for their selection of graphic novels and comic books and i can say that it does not disappoint. I also saw that the employees added small notes next to certain books they’ve liked, and the short description made all of them sound so enticing; the small details really gives a warm and personal touch to the place. They have a good variety of books in english mostly, but also a lot of french books and especially from local Montreal artists, which i think is fantastic!”
“A specialist bookshop for scifi and fantasy in both english and french. I was particularly impressed by their offer of local authors.Small and highly specialized, with competent and friendly staff.”
“À ne pas louper! La librairie est cozy, des livres exposés ici sur le thème de Noël donnent tous envie. J’ai adoré cette découverte, en plus la vendeuse était très gentille”

4001 Decarie Blvd, Montreal“Good prices on used books, was able to pick up a bunch of Bourne novels for about 3$ each. Was looking to find some warhammer 40k books, but they didn't have any. Good selection of Tom Clancy, some Stephen King. Was also looking to find some Jack Higgins but couldn't find either. Their disks are a little more expensive (they don't do 1$ dvds, cds or Blu rays like Encore does), but all in all pretty cool store. I'll go back eventually.”
11AM - 6PM
469 Rue Milton, Montréal“such an awesome book store, great selection of second hand books with unbeatable pricesyou can tell the owner is passionate about books! my favourite was the philosophy section!”
“Superb bookstore to discover. Huge choice of comics and large selection of books for young people. Qualified staff who know the literature and know how to advise us.”
“Great variation of used books, comics & records. They also carry blu ray/DVDs (but can be a little overpriced). The store is a tight squeeze, but all round good experiences nonetheless.”
10AM - 5PM
233 Boulevard d'Anjou, Châteauguay“Although a lot of English-speaking choice. Lots of finds to be made there. I went there mainly for books for my 2 year old child but not much choice in French. Eventually I will go back because I want him to learn English but for that I would have liked more choice in French.”
“Great bookstore. Bryan is the best bookseller. Thank you for the great recommendations. Lots of Quebecois, feminist and queer books. Please note that there are no Quebec books, even when it is the original language of the book.”
10AM - 10PM
269 Avenue du Mont-Royal E 222 et, Montréal“Wow! That’s really the word for this bookstore. The service is impeccable, fast and courteous. I come from the region and for me the big city is often synonymous with rude and inhumane service. Thanks to you, I'm changing my mind. There are still people who provide good customer service even in big cities.Thank you very much to Martin Turcotte for this speed. Very happy with my purchases I recommend 100%”

2220 McGill College Ave, Montreal“I love books; I love to read. I like to linger in this store, no rush and peruse the shelves; this makes me very happy, not to be rushed. The staff at Paragraphe always strive to get for me the book that I want to read and I so appreciate their knowledge, their efforts, and their efficiency!”
“It was my first time going to this children’s bookstore and I found it very cozy. The staff is phenomenal and know the books that are designated for each grade level. As a teacher, this bookstore had a wide assortment t of English books that covered various topics. Downstairs you can find a French section with a few options for second language learning. Don’t forget to tell the cashier you are a teacher to get 10% off. A large assortment of educational games as well, and cute finger puppets!”
“The Store has a good variety of books for believers and non-believers in french, english and even spanish, they have amazing discounts I've seen books here for less than half of the price compared to amazon or other places, the Lady who's in charge of the store is very kind and attentive if they don't have something at the store she will go the extra mile to try to bring it to the store. They have a good selection of books for kids, I recommend this place to all my friends.”
“The professional who waited for me (L1B2-O27694) is the kindest and most sensational person there. I need a book that is very difficult to find, but I found it at the other bookseller in the rede. Definitely Librairie Martin is my favorite bookstore after its service. My five stars are for its very nice service.”
“Kidlink is my go-to toy and book store in Montreal. It offers a perfect mix of captivating discoveries, modern gifts, and one of a kind items. What truly sets it apart, beyond its remarkable inventory, is the genuinely heartwarming reception extended by the owners—a level of kindness that resonates with me unlike any other store I've encountered. It’s located in the enchanting Monkland neighbourhood, surrounded by some of the best coffee and patisserie shops in the city, creating an ambiance that's nothing short of charming. From the very first step to the final farewell, the Kidlink experience unquestionably earns a 10/10. My heartfelt gratitude goes out to the entire Kidlink team for creating such an exceptional haven!”

7077 Newman Blvd, Lasalle“The service is amazing and the staff is knowledgeable and inviting to talk to .I do find the store to be a bit small which means they do not always carry popular titles or new less known releases due to shelving space .Otherwise it's a cute little corner and they have a good selection of Manga and Manwah even a few Donwah.”

900 Le, Boul. le Corbusier, Laval“I love shopping there, whether for myself or for a gift. Lots of choices for various occasions. I've already had a problem with a package and their customer service is super efficient and friendly. Well done!”
“I must admit that I like this Renaud Bray branch. Sometimes I go there just to browse the aisles and check out the new releases. Occasionally, I get my hands on some wonderful books very cheaply. Just do a little digging! I particularly remember finding a beautiful, great book on poker for a pittance. The clerks are friendly and very efficient, often having good suggestions. Warmly recommended.”
“I was so happy to find an independent bookstore in the West Island. The staff were very helpful and were kind enough to advise me in my search for a specific book. There are books in French, but it's mostly English books, and there's a large section dedicated to stationery. I like the squishy armchairs by the corner window, which is huge and lights up the entire shop. It's a lovely place and I'll definitely be back.”
“The most beautiful Montreal discovery I've made in a long time! The owner is super friendly, the atmosphere is magical and the books are incredible. There is something for everyone!”
“(Translated by Google) It's a bookstore run by one person, the guy is super friendly and helpful! Always ready to chat, full of good advice.(Original)C'est un librairie tenue par une personne, le gars est super sympathique et aidant! Toujours prêt à jaser, plein de bons conseils.”
“Probably one of the last, true original, comic stores in the Montreal area and despite the fact the store is located in Laval, it is worth the drive.Super excellent service, I contacted them online, they replied quickly, politely and efficiently, this is rare and I really appreciate that.Sealed over email for a mail order and I received the best service I had in a long long time. I am very impressed. The store itself is worth the detour, so many back issues, figures, posters and collectibles...”
