If you need quality furniture, for your living room, dining room, bedroom and/or accessories, look no further than Cameo Collection at 7955 Trans Canada Highway.
Our experience was in purchasing a sofa and area rug so we will tell you about our experience.
We found Cameo Collection through an AI search in Safari. The request was for a condo sized quality sofa, made in Quebec, preferably in Montreal, and where there may be a showroom where we could see their products. I asked the search to be conducted on the best reviews from consumers and Cameo Collection was the first to pop up. Buying Canadian in these times was the driving force for us and we decided to explore this manufacturer further.
Not only is the sofa we purchased solidly built, Canadian maple framing, stylish and right priced, it was delivered within 2 weeks. It could have been delivered sooner but we also purchased an area rug and the wait time for it was 2 weeks so we agreed to have everything delivered at once. This is an important point because we had a ridiculous experience with Tanguay Lasalle (we did eventually get a full refund but the situation did get out of hand). They requested full payment to guarantee a delivery date within 8 weeks. Five months later, we still had not received our sofa and they stopped taking our calls. Now with the tariff war, it is likely to be worse. We were lucky to recover our funds.
We had the pleasure of dealing directly with the owners of Cameo Collection, Natalie and Zareh, who were kind, generous and so accommodating. They are so forthcoming and genuine, they even gave us a tour of their production area where 2 dozen crafts people were working, and have been in their employ for decades. Even their delivery team were efficient, respectful of our home and arrived on time. That says a lot in this day and age.
I did read 2 very bad reviews in Cameo’s website that make absolutely no sense given the very favorable experience we had. These reviews are hosted by Yelp and should be removed, at least the one dated 2010 by a disgruntled individual…. If you want relevant reviews, consult Google reviews.
I would not hesitate to recommend Cameo Collection for any type of furniture and accessories you may require for your home or business. And made right here in Montreal.”
