“I used to think that gas stations are gas stations and they are all the same, that is so not true, lol. Some are certainly superior to others. This Esso is awesome! I like that it has single lanes, so you can drive in and drive out easily. I don't like the double ones where if you are the rear car and you finish before the front car, you have to pull around the car to exit. I know, first world problems, but hey, if I'm comparing gas stations, this is definitely a factor. This Esso has a Circle K convenience store in it. And this location has a really good selection of slushy flavours, like at least 6-10 different flavours. It also has a Tim Hortons in it and you can buy at the counter or you can go through the drive thru. Selection is a bit less than standalone Tim Hortons, but the convenience can't be beat. There are hand sanitizer dispensers at each pumping station. Staff are generally nice. Since this location is in Orleans, prices are generally lower than in Ottawa or places further west. I really like this Esso. I also love that you get Optimum points at Esso :)”

The store is packed with everything you want. They have a Tim Horton. Always serving some sweet donughts and a double double.”

“I've gassed up at this Petro Canada a few times. Since it's in Orléans, the prices are usually a fair bit lower than in Ottawa, so I love it for that. It's located right at a roundabout though and I hate roundabouts, lol. There's an Esso gas station on the other side of the roundabout. I've only ever paid at the pump here, so I don't know what the customer service is like but I've never had any problems. They do not have hand sanitizer dispensers by the pumps though, like Esso does across the roundabout. They have a number of pumps, but they are all 2 deep, so if you're the "back car" and the "front car" is not yet finished, and the pumps next to you or next to the car in front of you are occupied, you will have to back up. You can drive around is there's no one next to you, or if you're at an "end pump."”

“Mr Gas in Cumberland is a hustling spot! Lots of traffic into the station for well priced gas, for commuters between Rockland and beyond as well as visitors crossing from the ferry on the opposite side of HWY 17 or from Ottawa.Need some wine for dinner or grab some cold beers or beverages to consume while watching sports? They have all that plus snacks, and some locally sourced food edibles like several types of honey, a selection of super sized custom made peanut butter chocolate snacks, and some local baked goods.The wine selection is small but more than serviceable with wine sold in sizes from 750 ml to 4 litre boxes plus a variety that can match just about any meal.Beer offerings includes some local brewing companies plus the larger commercial brewer brands.Staff are friendly and helpful.There is a pizza place right next door so you can pick up your beverages and get dinner at the same time!”

Competitive pricing, and this station is easy to get in and out of.Online hours posted are incorrect. It seems that they close between 10:15 and 10:30 p.m.”
“These guys are amazing! I was terrified of my new tank that had just been filled somewhere else. The tank was hissing and leaking propane and I was afraid it might explode. These guys took control, assessed the problem and FIXED it. They immediately purged the tank down to its proper rating because it had been overfilled by 13 lbs. This was not the fault of the place that filled it but a fault in my valve which had prevented the built in safety features in the dispenser ( auto shut off) from working properly. The moral of the story for me is that I will always fill by weight in the future.”

“Arrived at a busy time, driving my f350, waited for a spot , some rude j*** with a quicker tiny car cut me off as usual, spot opened up seconds later so no big deal and nothing having to do with the place. Pumping was usual slow and time consuming for $100 worth, and it was stuck at two day old prices 8-13¢ (1.60 ish) more expensive than ottawa 20min away where i should of pumped close to home. Wash rinse repeat.. life lesson oops.”

It has a lot of bays and they are spaced out, so if you are finished before the person ahead of you, you don't have to back up (granted you left enough space between you two, lol), you can just pull around them. There are hand sanitizer dispensers near the gas pumps. Since this gas station is in Orleans, prices are generally cheaper than in neighbourhoods further west. This gas station is by a roundabout.”

The manager was very understanding about my own misunderstanding about not being able to interpret my receipt and returned my money immediately.I’m impressed with the manager’s explanation about her staff who might be in training and wouldn’t have been able to give me a refund which I now understand.Thank you Econo and of course I will return for my gas and car wash needs.”
“Hey, I just found out that the car washing machine has been upgraded. It must have happened very recently, as I used the car wash service a couple of weeks ago. The new car wash lane looks rather futuristic to enter into. It's like a time machine or teleportation tunnel or something of that sort. To me it's fun to watch the machine in motion, spraying colourful cleansing agents, followed by a power blast of water in the touchless washing mode. The car became super clean after the washing cycle. All the mud from the snow geese watch trip in the flooded farm field and concession trials were completely gone. Loving it.”
