“Many of the UPS stores around here are closed on weekends because this is a business heavy area and also more office buildings are becoming emptier or changing into additional living spaces etc. This particular one is on a side street that looks like it is part of the downtown but in a less attractive area the way everything is juxtaposed. I don't feel unsafe at all. Rather, it is convenient for the residents nearby and stop and go in addition to being a 20 min walk for me. The location makes it more likely to be open on a Saturday. The staff person I worked with was friendly and helped me through the process to tell me that what I had shipped is okay since it is within the same country and that it is okay and proper for me to use my hotel as an address for return. The price was what I had expected based on my own research. It was a good experience and I was lucky that the rare occasion I go to Canada is the time I need to ship out a package in Canada. It was a good work out in double layers with -13 F weather. 20 min walk. Some of the locals are wearing a lot less than me and seem fine but some are just outside quickly and then back in a car immediately. Maybe I should see if I can find anyone in shorts? Lol.”
