“I am confident saying this is the best pharmacy in the area, and one of the best in Canada!
All staff are bilingual which is very helpful, I’m learning French and medical appointments are an area that I still struggle in. Phone is always picked up promptly. Prescriptions filled at lightning speed. I never have problems reaching anyone, and the employees are all so kind and helpful!
Closes at 8 most days, so it’s not difficult to make it here.
No designated street or parking lot area, but the IGA is next door and you can park there. The street in front has a bus stop so unfortunately you can’t park along there
Got my file transferred here so quickly and easily, it was within 2 hours! Staff is really kind, medication is always done within an hour tops. I saw the reviews for Pharmaprix and Jean Coutu I said “hell nah” and I’m so glad I did! A little further away from me but 100% worth it. Excellent service

“I just switched to this pharmacy and the staff are so friendly! They made the process easy for me and even came over to me where I was looking at sponges to let me know my meds were ready. The head pharmacist let me fill my pain management early so I can enjoy Christmas and Hanukkah with my partner and not worry about rushing home for when they open after Christmas just for my medication. I walk with a cane and am legally blind, I guess was obvious I was having a hard time navigating an unfamiliar store with my arms full of stuff so a really sweet staff member helped me carry everything over to the till. She was really nice and made me laugh, I felt a VIP or something. ? I also noticed when shopping the staff seemed to overall be laughing together, saying hi and smiling at each other as they worked. Helping each other and chatting as they worked (not in a lazy way but good vibes and keeping productive way.) I do not work there so can't say anything for fact how staff are treated. But they seemed much more relaxed and happy than other pharmacies this busy time of year. As a customer I would rather see the employees laughing together or even chatting than stressed out and alone on shift, makes the whole experience more relaxed. I am glad I made the change to this pharmacy for sure. Especially for anyone trans, intersex or disabled they accommodated above and beyond down to only putting my given name not legal name on my bottles without me asking, they asked me first ?”

I accompanied my partner to his appointment with Anick which was made to remove two warts on his hands. From start to finish, Anick was kind, caring, funny and very educational. While we both speak French, Anick quickly realized my partner was more comfortable in English and switched to speaking English with no issue or hesitance. This is always appreciated in a medical setting especially when it’s done without annoyance or irritation (which is sometimes felt from others elsewhere).
Anick talked us through the treatment and educated us on how warts form and what the treatment does. When my partner felt a little lightheaded post-treatment, she expertly took care of him until he felt better enough to get up again. She then explained proper care instructions and next steps going forward.
Overall, we did not know what to expect as neither of us ever made a nursing appointment at Jean Coutu but we were highly impressed with Anick’s level of care and service. She is the type of nurse that makes you regain some hope in our medical system. Merci encore Anick! ☺️”
