“The sausages prepared every week by the butcher are delicious and low in fat. Burgers have nothing to do with McDonald's, it's like a good homemade BBQ! And what nourishes more than the belly...a more than impeccable service every time, a personalized exchange with kind-hearted people! Thank you for being here!”

“One of the employees (a supervisor I believe) went out of her way by giving me something for free. It’s an IGA policy- if it comes out as an error on the self-checkout, you get it free (less than $10). It made my day! Not to mention with the high costs of living now, it was a great experience ?”

“My find of the month which will certainly be my find of the year 2024. A place where the pleasure of selecting its ingredients already makes our mouths water. Very good advice, the owner Nathalie knows how to guide us very well and help us discover 1000 and one gastronomic possibilities to cook with her spice blends of which she has the secret. It is to this place, where I return often now, that I buy, among other things, Laurentian grain-fed chicken from La Rose ses Vents farm.”

“A must in the Laurentians to purchase fine, exclusively Laurentian products and enjoy a warm welcome. You will find everything there, coffee, chocolate, nuts, spread, SOS Fondue, hot sauce, local meats, local microbrewery beer, as well as vegan products such as veggie creton and several varieties of seitan. Very nice place to find gift ideas. Well done !!!”

“Love this store. I make a point of doing my weekly shopping there. Friends I introduced now make the pilgrimmage as well. The only downside to knowing about this gem is now I get pissed when I go to a "normal" grocery store and I miss the great prices at Bourassa.”

“My boyfriend and I stop in Val Morin often to go for hikes and see their markets. This little spot is actually such a beautiful little treasure that is a one stop shop for local meats, cheeses and alcohol. We picked up a delicious stout, some high quality bavette and some delicious lemonade.

The owners were extremely informative, kind and just had a really nice vibe.

I highly recommend stopping here for some goodies on the way home.”

“At lunchtime, they generally have a great offer of meals of the day (minimum 3-4 different choices), at a more than reasonable price, around $8 or $11 with the soup of the day, the dessert of the day and a drink. Good solution for an inexpensive dinner!”

“This Metro is well stocked with a variety of fresh produce, meats, breads fresh out of the oven like a cheese loaf that lasted only two days accompanied by fresh creton which suffered the same fate. Parking available in the back next to the church which is open every second Saturday for the Winter market featuring local artisans. So if you want to take a drive and experience Val David during the Christmas season you will not be disappointed.”

“Having a convenience store this handy to our chalet is much appreciated. They stock all the necessities and when you add the SAQ - Quebec's alcohol distribution designation - as well as gas pumps - it's hard to beat their convenience.”

“We're always looking for what to eat here, the choice is incredible

What a delight, thank you see you soon

“This is a relatively large natural food and medicine store with a small kitchen where the meals are wholesome and fresh. Most folks who work there have some specific expertise or can find you the store expert for those products that you desire. I've almost never left there without the product I was looking for.”

“Best place for fresh vegetables, fruits, and cheeses at a reasonable price. Also maintains a wide variety of imported goods not found in big supermarkets. Although prices are always competitive, specials are especially interesting.”

“Very large, the aisles are wide and lots of choice for a small village like St-Sauveur. Good place to buy inexpensive bouquets of flowers. Clothing, pharmacy and kitchen and decoration items. Toilets on the 2nd floor.”

“Unbeatable for low prices and freshness of fruits and vegetables! The only downside is no cashier in the evening so you have to avoid doing a big grocery store otherwise you have to scan everything yourself! Not very practical…”
