“Best dive in Vaudreuil. And great Indian products and spices of all kinds. Bravo for your grocery store. Great service. Beautiful butcher shop and great variety of tea. Marinated chicken is excellent on the BBQ. Service in French and English. My new best grocery store. Close to the highway, it's worth the detour.”
“British, UK, Scottish, and Welsh goods. Offers a wide selection of beautifully crafted cups and plates, snacks, scarves, artisan goods, and clocks. Plenty of parking available. The owner is friendly and helpful.”
“Love this place, new discovery in the neighbourhood. Vaudreuil mostly has chain restaurants and it's a breath of fresh air to find homemade takeout food. We are pretty unexperienced when it comes to pinoy food, and this has been the perfect introduction. We loved their xiumai and their seafood pansit. And the prices are amazing considering the quality and quantity you get. Will go back in a few days :)”
“Great little grocery store and gas station! The employees, who are always super smiling, helpful, friendly and polite, mean that I often take a detour to go there, even if I could stop elsewhere on my way. Thanks to the whole gang and keep up the good work!??☀️”
“The selection and variety of food here is unbelievable. I love this store.Bilingual staff was very friendly. Nice to see young men being employed and doing a good job. Must have a great manager.”
“Very expensive. compared to St Eustache or two other brand mountains.
But incredible service. I love this family and I only know them by sight. They are very nice.
Meat or fish, very good!
THANKS!”
“Very big place
A cross between Costco and Walmart.
Prices medium range
Busy but flowing so you don't have to stay in big line and wait forever.
I liked it”
“Pricey for sure, but it is always fun to go there.
The cashiers always take the time to give balloons to the kids. They even have small carts for kids to practice/learn grocery shopping. Niche and local products are on display. Just always an overall pleasant experience.”
“Super friendly staff and always very helpful whenever you need guidance. The cashiers and baggers are always very helpful as well. Prices are also much more affordable than surrounding competition.”
“I live next to the Maxi Coteaux du lac, it's convenient for last minute needs, there are always good discounts also the staff is courteous and efficient. There are always roast chickens at meal times and hot somosas!!”
“New owner thrives in costumer service, never disappointed, well located next to Costco. Food really good when you don’t feel like spending hours in the kitchen. The Asian hors d’oeuvres are you die for, the cabbage rolls are amazing. Perfect frozen meals to have in your freezer and they come in different sizes from individual to family size. Love it”
“I gave it 4 stars because the toilets are not clean and smell bad.
Before it was better.
The rest of the store is clean and the employees are courteous.”
“Finally a metro where there is a nice variety of products! And Adonis products hurray!
They are in circulars but only available in some stores including yours! And your sandwiches etc. Perfect for lunch!”
“Lovely clean atmosphere, well-stocked fruit and vegetable section. Lovely bakery. Actually I believe they are very well stocked with all sorts of groceries and you will leave there store happy.”
“Still more expensive than the Maxi but they have some products that i would buy nowhere else. For example, they have amazing people at the bakery who makes absolutely crazy cheese bacon bread. I'll always stop at this store just for this ahah. I also always buy my baguette there. They simply are the best.
Prices can be fairly good with flyers deals and usually, their fresh products looks better than the Maxi.
They also are one of the first store I saw that was highly discounting products close to "best before" dates to avoid spoiling food that would end up in the garbage. All stores should do this. I bought a pie 3$ instead of 14$. Barely spoiled. I removed the spot that was no longer good and ate the entire pie. Was feeling good to fight food waste one pie at time. I hope more stores will do it as seriously as this Metro store handles it.
Old review 6 years ago: More expensive than the Maxi&Co on the other side of street for many products but they hold different kind of products like Sushis (always price reductions on those, it's amazing), etc. Overall, it's always great to have competition in retail stores. Prices are more fair and we have wider variety of products to choose from. Will keep buying some stuff here!”
“This store maintains a high standard of cleanliness, which is always appreciated when shopping for groceries. The shelves are well-organized, and the overall shopping experience is pleasant. There’s a good selection of products, and you can usually find what you’re looking for. While the fresh fruit and vegetables are available in a decent variety, it’s worth noting that they’re sometimes a day or two away from spoiling, and on occasion, you may come across items that are already past their prime. However, the store’s cleanliness and product selection still make it a convenient and reliable option for most of your grocery needs.”
“Metro is a grocery store that I love. The quality is always there and the freshness too. There are good savings every week. It's worth it to plan your menu accordingly with discounts in the circular to make maximum savings. The store is very large and the rows are well marked to make it easy to find. There are also rarer original ingredients for our unusual recipes.”
