“I have Ego tools and snowblower. These have a good warranty but good luck trying to enforce this warranty if you purchased your Ego device from Rona, Réno-Dépôt or Home Dépôt. It's downright impossible. This is where Cloutier Pro finds its value. It offers peace of mind in terms of guarantees. My Ego snowblower that I had purchased from them stopped working and it was: "No problem sir, please bring it to us and we will repair it and return it to you within 48 hours at no cost". Now try to have such a service in supermarkets or if you bought it online. It's impossible. I live in Gatineau (my parents live not far from Cloutier Pro) and from now on it is Cloutier Pro for all my Ego device purchases without exception. The added value it offers is totally worth the detour.”

“Last week I went to Home Depot to buy a piece of plywood and ask them if they can cut it for me. The guy told me the saw is in the back I can cut it myself and then today I went to the Rona and I asked them if they can help me And they did no problem and they cut it for me. The exact size that I needed very friendly and the price was very reasonable. If you do not know what you’re doing and you need help, I would recommend that you go to Rona”
“Helpful knowledgeable staff & great prices. After a series of bad interactions at Home Depot I came here and these folks really now their stuff when it comes to simple home repairs and renovations. Multiple times someone has come over to say 'that might not be the right item for your job try X'. Prices are often MUCH cheaper than Home Depot.”

Only issue (and reason for the 4 star review) is the young employees are not well trained and seem to not care much for being there. This is typical of the younger employees in many industries but it just adds a level of frustration when you ask for something and they aimlessly walk around or send people off to random aisles (and by all means I am not asking technical and carpentry questions, just simple items placements and stock info). Overall pretty good as long as you know what you're looking for and don't require much assistance.”
