“The butcher has very good taste and lots of variety! The shelves are full and so many choices that I never know what to take! The marinades and dishes to reheat are perfect, not forgetting the tourtière and their famous stew!!A detour is worth it, Quebec cuisine is very well represented there!!”

“It's my neighborhood grocery store and I love it: lots of choice, well organized and courteous staff. But my favorite, one of the butchers. He is a true enthusiast who does not hesitate for a second to share his discoveries, to suggest new cuts, to suggest cooking methods and even... prepare Valleyfield grilled meats for you when there are none. not in the counter.”

“This IGA is larger than our local IGA, so I tend to do a larger shop when I go to this location to take advantage of the greater variety available. There are more specialty foods, a larger bakery, and a bigger meat/fish section, whereas the produce section is about the same as the smaller location. The store is clean and well organized with wide aisles, plenty of carts, and ample parking.Self-checkout is available. The self checkouts have never given me any issues, and the section where scanned items are placed on for bagging are sizable enough for a good-sized cartload, which is not always the case.Highly recommend this IGA.Side note: I have noticed that the produce departments are smaller, and the quality is lesser in every grocery store I have been to here in Quebec, as compared to grocery stores in BC. Perhaps that reflects closer proximity to Calfornia and Mexico. On the other hand, grocery stores in Quebec carry more game and other "exotic" meats I rarely found in BC grocery stores.”
