There is a good choice of products, and the weekly promotions are interesting. However, I have noticed that certain fresh products, such as fruits and vegetables, are not always of the best quality. Additionally, there are sometimes long queues at the checkouts, especially during peak hours. Despite this, the staff is courteous and ready to help when needed. I will continue to shop there hoping that some improvements will be made.”

Be aware that was is listed in stock on the website might not be up to date and could be 2w late. Staff is nice and helpfull and the sections are labeled clearly although some products move around depending on sales. It's proximity to the uni is a huge plus though.”

    “When we there you always find some good item at a price that make sense, as it is a small supermarket they cannot load the shelves more there size . Each time you can find bargain proper to that store. If I check the circular often the item in special is gone, I know they depend on the delivery truck and even they put the item on order, the storage center don't sent them. They face a common situation with other grocery and delivery is sometimes not reliable. Good place for grocery but should reduce price and pay a smaller salary to the high rank . At the end it is make more profit for the shareholders. Like any other vie.”

    “Today I came to the metro to have my lotteries validated and the service person there had a very good way of validating my tickets. I had a very big package so usually we end up losing my winning receipts and such but somehow we managed to do it in an efficient manner and I got the right amount of money at the end . As I remember her name was Koraly. Very good service from her and always smiling!”

    “nice place and friendly staff. However I’ve noticed lately that some (1or2) male clerks will literally get within 5 cm of me to grab a product without providing a heads-up so that I get out of the way. I happen not to be a piece of furniture and therefore find this incredibly disrespectful. At some point, one of them just pushed my cart away from the narrow space in front a the cash registry to pass behind me (again with no more than 10cm behind me) as I was paying. There was clearly a larger path he could have used at the self-check out but instead decided to push my cart away and charge ahead as if I wasn’t there. If you’re going to be in someone’s personal space, just say ”excuse me” to make your presence known and out of respect. I don’t assume people want me in their personal space without warning and the same applies to them.”

    Kroger is spending $112 million to build two new stores and renovate 15 existing locations across central and northwest Ohio. The company calls it a "record-breaking" commitment to the region. The two new Kroger Marketplace stores will rise in Canal Winchester and Delaware, Ohio, each costing roughly $30 million to build. Kroger broke ground on the Canal Winchester location on March 19 at the southeast corner of Diley Road and Greengate Boulevard. The 118,000-square-foot store is expected to open in late fall 2026 and will create around 250 jobs.

    Loblaw Companies Limited is putting serious money into its retail network this year. Canada's largest food and pharmacy retailer announced it will spend $2.4 billion in 2026 to open new stores, renovate existing locations and strengthen its supply chain. The company plans to open 70 new stores in 2026. That includes 34 Shoppers Drug Mart and Pharmaprix pharmacies and care clinics, along with 31 hard-discount No Frills and Maxi grocery stores. On top of the new openings, Loblaw will renovate another 191 stores and continue construction on a roughly 1.2 million-square-foot automated distribution center in Caledon, Ontario.
