“We must encourage these village grocery stores, they are disappearing or are rare. Still, every time I go up to Garthby-Beaulac, I stop there to find something to eat. There are often things on discount for quick sales and I always find something healthy for not too much money. Regardless of this, the grocery store is well stocked with cheeses etc. The friendly atmosphere at the checkouts is friendly and we see that each customer is known and greeted by the cashier in a frank camaraderie that remains polite. Just that, it's worth the detour!”
