“While the facility is copy/paste, I have to give a special shout out to Lynn. Went in yesterday to set up my unit. Stuck in the location alone, Lynn managed to deal with me, another customer who had issues with the digital rental process and the fire department due to someone who was utilizing their space in an unsafe manner. Never have I recieved such above and beyond level of professionalism and hospitality in a time of such pressure. The world would be a better place if every store, gas station, restaurant, warehouse, and hotel had a Lynn. Completely outstanding experience even when the situation was less than ideal. She handled my issues and ensured that I left satisfied and willing to return. Zero complaints, and if there were a 6th star, I would have selected it for this review. Employees like Lynn are invaluable.”

“We had a recent experience with Destiny at Compass SS in Smithfield RI, that deserves a special call out.
We rented a climate-controlled unit for the summer months to locally store some items for our Bryant U Student as we live out of state. We had a dorm move-out date which was actually on Mother's day, May 12th. This was also a Sunday and Compass SS was to close at 2:00. When initially renting from Compass SS, you can do the preliminary paperwork remotely but need to sign in person the first time you access the unit.
It was Mother's Day. We were coming from NH and our commute was much longer than anticipated due to excessive traffic. We needed to move out of the dorm THAT DAY...and we were running late (past 2:00) to do the mandatory lease signing! I don't know what we would have done without access to the storage unit that afternoon. The STRESS was almost overwhelming! That is, until I called the office and spoke to Destiny!
Destiny was our saving grace that day! She offered to stay past closing in order to meet us! I'm sure she had other places to be on a Mother's Day Sunday afternoon... but the fact that she prioritized our crisis and was willing to stay an extra 1/2 hour speaks volumes to her customer service, and to her compassion to help our family out of a pretty awful situation. When we finally did arrive, Destiny was very pleasant and accommodating, minimizing my thankful apologies and assuring us that it was really no big deal. This gesture was not insignificant and it's becoming a rarity to find customer service representatives willing to go above expectations.
We feel so appreciative to have had Destiny help us on that day. Compass SS should also feel appreciative to have such a wonderful staff member representing their company.”

“I admit I hired them based on the crazy low rate which I knew was a risk. Did I regret it? No! I can’t say enough about the great job they did. They were on time, friendly, and brought some cool equipment to help expedite things. The move went very smoothly and not only didn’t take all day but almost nothing was left behind. My one gripe was that it was over budget because it went a little long which sucked. But that’s not the guys fault either. Thankfully the rate was low as I said. I also like that when I booked initially they didn’t want a complete inventory of items like others do these days. Seriously what is up with that? If/when we move again I’ll definitely call them first.”

“I’m only leaving 4 Stars because I don’t wanna make the workers feel bad. They are both very nice and very helpful. Kim and Lynn are lovely but this location is a disaster. How can you have two carts in a location this big?!!! Everyone brings their own carts and there’s only two available have to sign them in and out from the building. This is not cohesive with other public locations. My other storage unit has eight cards available to anyone at any time honestly, I should be leaving two or three stars because the owners of this facility are slacking on us. I do not appreciate the lack of care put into this project. It’s genuinely crazy and driving me crazy I keep on lending my cards to other people because I don’t want others to suffer get more carts please thank you very much. I’m trying to be polite, but this is nuts.”
