Their prices were very good, even better than at the big box stores.Though they did try to sell me a cage they said was good for guinea pigs even though it was not a cage appropriate for pigs. Multi-tiered cages are dangerous for piggies.”

“Dtails Pet Salon is worth the drive! I traveled from Newport to find a professional and knowledgeable groomer to bathe and and clip my cat Jasper. They have a great selection of pet foods, treats and accessories. The staff is friendly and most importantly, Jasper left his appointment so clean and perfectly clipped (and he wasn’t stressed). I can’t wait to go back with my pup Lillyanna and give her a salon day. Also can’t wait to SHOP their selections!”

I can be an overly cautious dog mom but she always treats me with respect and is so accommodating when I have concerns for your pet. She really cares about the well-being of your animal and I feel confident I can trust her with my furry loves. Dr. Mello and Dr. Crane are also great vets!”

“BFF is incredible; I can't say enough good things about them. Extremely easy and convenient drop off and pick up. Flexible hours and 24/7 overnight option with staff always present in the building. They send video and picture updates throughout the day and post on social media. “Dr Richard Mello is the owner & vet. He is very dedicated to his patients & although he retired many years ago..he is still there treating his patients most days.WAH is very busy and the worldwide shortage of vets does not help. They are overwhelmed by people bringing their babies to them. They are often booked at least a month out for routine visits. They do their best to accommodate emergency calls. WAH tries to keep their fees reasonable and will work out a payment plan with you if you're honest!Dr Mello's daughter, Dr Jodi is also an experienced excellent vet there for many years. I've heard another long time vet is retiring soon. They have reduced their hours since COVID to Monday- Friday.I highly recommend WAH.”

“I have to say for this small little local couple they really pull through and make you feel special, I needed some ID Cards for my dog and didnt know how to go about doing it, to my surprise these folks were right in my own back yard. Maggie Explained everything to me step by step and I was able to make the proper selection. Nick and maggie both showed up at my door and hand delivered my ID tags, and even refunded me the shipping costs. Very Kind and Professional. God bless the both of you. “A staple in the community. They've been around furever. Sure the prices can be a few dollars higher than Petco or online but it's got the small local business thing going for it and you can stop in and get your pet supplies quick and easy unlike in a large store or days later shopping online. It's clean and neat and doesn't smell. My one gripe is that I wish the young guys working there would offer to carry the heavy dog food bag to my hatchback for me as I'm handicapped and walk with a cane so it was a bit awkward carrying it one handed, putting it down on the wet ground to open the car and then lifting it back up into the car. That probably has more to do with personal manners than store policy though. Otherwise I think the place is great and I appreciate the variety they keep in stock.”
