“They were so nice! I came in to ask about a small spot of rust on my car door. A gentleman came out, looked at it, then came back and just sanded, applied something, painted it and fixed the spot right there! And didn't even charge! Then he answered my questions about other small dings and paint chips on my car, and recommended what to do with them. My usual car place said they didn't deal with rust spots, and referred me to Hal's for that. I guess Hal's Center does a lot of major repairs - there were cars lined up with bumpers missing or torn up in the parking lot, presumably waiting. It seemed pretty busy (must be popular?), but the folks still helped me with my spot of rust, and now I have peace of mind and more info on upkeeping my car!”
“9/5/25- Finally able to update my review back to 5 stars. The store looked so good. Coffee area was very clean and bathroom was finally clean!
Kyle was on the register and I have to say, he is always a pleasure. He makes me feel seen and heard and never makes me feel rushed while working efficiently.

OP-8/25. I have loved my local Cumbies near the high school since before high school (many decades ago).
I am super happy for the manager and family welcoming their 3rd baby.
But I do have to say you can tell he's gone. The store is a consistent wreck. I always make an effort to help clean up the coffee station when I can, but there's not much I can do about the disgusting bathroom. It usually does still have toilet paper and soap, but no paper towels and the same dirt has been in the same spots on the floor for weeks and the same splatters of feces in the toilet bowl. (Checked out bathroom today, 6 days later, and I can see the toilet was at least cleaned maybe once or twice. No soap today though ?)
Used to be a perfect place for a quick restroom stop, especially with littles. Not so much now.
The workers are all kind amd pleasant, just wish they cared for the state of the store a little more.

“The store is always clean and well stocked.i would like to make a special call out to the young lady who rang up my purchase her name was Sabrina every time I go in there she is working she is very pleasant, outgoing, from the time you walk in to the store if she has people at the register to ring up Sabrina will always be sure to greet you till the time you leave she will always be sure to say have yourself a great day. The retail world needs more workers like her I did forget to mention that she always has a smile on her face. The management and owner of that 7Eleven are lucky to have an employee like this.”

“So, it’s 2 AM and I roll up to this gas station, half awake, half running on fumes (me and the car). The auto pump was broken, so I had to stand there holding the nozzle like it was 1993, wondering if I should be getting paid hourly for this.
My friend wanted a white monster energy drink. (He got 2) I was also disappointed to learn that the men’s bathroom was “out of order” I heard there might have been a gummy snake left in the toilet?? So I did what any desperate man would do. I used the women’s bathroom. It smelt like the guy in the hoodie walking around took a massive one in there. Sorry, ladies, but nature doesn’t care about gender signs.
The highlight of the evening was when I spotted a crab-shaped pen. My buddy almost bought it for me, but then we saw the $7 price tag. SEVEN. For a pen. I don’t know what kind of crustacean markup strategy they’re running, but that crab better pay my bills and do my taxes for that price.
Meanwhile, the employee behind the counter was the most enthusiastic human being I’ve ever met about a gas station loyalty program. He spoke for five minutes straight about the perks, points, and probable immortality benefits of signing up. I felt like I was being recruited for a pyramid scheme, but with gas discounts.
All in all: 10/10 surreal experience, 4/5 stars because I’m still thinking about that crab pen.”
“I wish I had known about this garage before, it's great. I had taken my car in for inspection to a different place a couple months ago, waited for hours, and then ended up paying hundreds of dollars for stuff I don't even know if I needed. At Oliveira's garage, I was in and out in 30 minutes and only paid for the inspection. It was fast, easy, no-nonsense, and awesome.”

“The contactless reader was not working at the pump I used and the store was closed for inventory the day I went for gas. That said, I gave it 4 stars because I was able to pay and I figure the store is normally open, I was just there on the wrong day.”
“Just love my Cumberland Farms... staff is friendly and fast, even in the challenging multitasking environment. Customers are understanding and polite given the new norm, constant staffing challenges. Love the coffee and how can you beat 99 cents!!!! Farmhouse Columbian Bold is my favorite and I enjoy it 7 days a week, morning, noon and night, it's always fresh. Gas, Lottery, best cigarette prices around and coffee, coffee, coffee... Thank Cumbies you have been doing it right for a long time and I love your Boston Neck Rd. Narragansett Location the best!!!”

Why would you go here if you prefer to pump your own gas? Obviously the prices reflect that and the fact it’s near the highway. If you’re going to write a review, at least be educated otherwise you sound like a moron.”

“This gas station is more than a gas station, its small town hall almost filled with regulars and the kind humans that work there. Joan, Ruth and Cornelius are the backbone of the place.
While Cumberland has the worst app known to mankind, the people that work there make up for it.
They are kind, have patience and a smile for the rushed, undercaffinated and the weary and annoyed (which I can be sometime).
They go above and beyond, every single time I was in there in the summer.
Cornelius has eleven kids and a fresh grandchild, his smile lights up the store on his Thursday through Sunday third shifts. Always a hello, big smile and a high five - he goes above and beyond as a human.
He is a beautiful human that anyone would and should have working for them. He makes customers feel special in a way that you drive out of your way to go there.
Even though the app sucks worse than taxes, whoever is doing the hiring knows how to do it, as that store is packed with smiling and helpful humans, they are better than most of the people working at the fancy hotels and yacht clubs up the hill, and should probably be running those places.
Worth the stop. Every time. And buy the Middletown cops a coffee just because they’re cool, nice and everything a cop should be.”
“Albert in the deli is THE NICEST and most accommodating worker I have ever met. I have celiacs disease making it difficult to buy from the deli. Albert voluntarily cleaned the entire slicing machine for me to avoid cross contamination. I would never have asked but it was above and beyond. Thank you Albert! “I go here to try and help my boy learn about el Jesus after I tell him that he is a universal energy but the place only sell gasoline I try to talk to attendan to guy to see if he knows Jesus Christo pero he only know about the premium unleaded and he tell me and my kid that he is a teaist which is ok because I like tea especially sweet tea the Paula deen kind is so good I get diabetes from it but I still drink it behind my wife back, whish is pretty easy becauSe her back so big she look like this guy I saw that try dock Andrew Jackson”

“Went here with my parents to fill up on diesel fuel on Saturday July 13th 2024 after exploring the nearby town of Newport, RI. This gas station has diesel, and regular gas. We filled up, and then went on our merry way. This gas was reasonably priced.”

“It's the only gas station on the island, so get it while you can or you have to wait 'til you get to the mainland. They renovated this place a few years back; it's nice. Cheap ice coffee and good selection of drinks and snacks. Like I tell everyone about all Cumberland Farms, try a hot pretzel, they're super good!”
