When I visited the store, Jeff was equally fantastic. Not only did he help resolve the issue, but he also took the time to explain the differences in photo paper options so I’d better understand the process going forward. “I stopped by Walgreens and honestly, it delivered exactly what you expect—and sometimes that’s all you need. The store was clean, shelves were stocked, and I didn’t have to go on a scavenger hunt just to find basic items like toothpaste or snacks. The pharmacy line can move a little slow depending on the time of day, but the staff stayed professional and didn’t make it feel like you were waiting forever (even if you kinda were). The employees on the floor were helpful when asked, but not hovering like you’re about to steal something—which is always appreciated. Prices are what they are—typical Walgreens pricing, so don’t expect miracles—but the convenience makes up for it. It’s one of those places you run into for one thing and somehow walk out with five.”

The Iowa retailer, the third-largest convenience store operator in the country, built its new three-year plan around three priorities: store growth, food and beverage expansion, and kitchen technology upgrades. The company plans to add 120 stores during the current fiscal year. Its previous plan, launched in 2023, delivered more than 500 new stores and earned the company a spot in the S&P 500.
