“Best bank I've ever had. Closed my acct with another big bank and they bought my old debit card for $25 or $50 at the time (though that deal may no longer be available.) If you care, they have coffee and the newspaper there too every day which is nice if youre passing thru to do your banking for the day. And the tellers here are absolutely fantastically kind and easy to work with unlike any bank I've been to before. I refer all my friends and family here.”

“The customer service at this bank is first class. I've done business here for 35 years with no complaints. During that time I've used a WST home equity loan to float some projects. I'm impressed by the fact that the banking crisis of 2008 had little effect on WST operations, certainly an indication of sound practice and good management. Bank officers occasionally spend time at a window, and tellers are well qualified to start more involved banking processes before proceeding to an office, so I have rarely had to wait to get my business started, and done.”

So much better when you have a bank when you walk in the door and you're a first name basis with everyone and if you even have hard times they understand the not goning to keep penalizing you. They understand the small business person!”

From getting me set up with an appointment to actually setting up my accounts, each team member has gone above and beyond. Jason helped me establish a savings/checking account and a credit card as I consolidate my accounts to one central location. “July 9th, 2025, I walked into this branch and was welcomed with a warm smile by one of the female tellers. I asked to see a Notarizer and she had said it would be a few minutes. I was then greeted by Ms. Nicole Winsor and we went into her office, and since I never had a document notarized before she explained what she needed in detail. Ms. Winsor's personality is very warm, bubbly and personable. She took care of all the documents I had and I was very grateful. On top of that, she remembered me and she remembered that I have a brother when she worked at a previous location over 10 years ago!

“Surprisingly helpful Bank, particularly the Employee assisting named Cheyenne. Made eye contact filed. She knew me from a previous branch. I was extremely surprised that she recalled fax, even though it had been between six months in a year since interacting with her at the previous branch, a few times only.

“This was my first time visiting this Citizens Bank branch and it couldn't have been a more pleasant and helpful experience. Incredibly efficient considering that I made the appointment online only last night, and by lunchtime today I had opened a new account, as well as having had additional complications regarding ID etc. resolved. All of the staff that I interacted with were incredibly friendly and helpful, particularly Ricardo who oversaw the majority of my situation. The issues with my account were quite complicated, yet I was in and out within 20 minutes. Other reviews seem to be irrelevant and inapplicable to this specific branch - such as it not being open at the times that the reviewer is free (all branches of all banks are open at the same/comparable times), and a reviewer taking a personal issue with the larger organization in general.”

“RICU is the best financial institution in our State. (Note: FDIC banks are great for CDs and money markets.) We older folks remember that the Credit Union opened several days after the 1991 banking crisis; while other credit unions went belly up, and screwed depositors out of lots of money!In terms of rates, policies and customer service, they are simply the best for credit cards, loans, checking and everyday banking.As to Kingston Branch, Nancy the manager, Lisa the assistant manager and all of the staff are competent, hardworking and nice people. With all due respect, people who leave a one-star review without any narrative or context should be read with a large grain of salt!”
