“Dave's is the only market to get fresh meat priced reasonably, but I really want to focus this review on Jermaine; the recently hired leader of the butcher shop. This man is the best butcher in RI. I eat steak every day and I have looked far and wide for steak in RI that is always fresh/healthy, but doesn't cost $35/lb. This is the place to go and Jermaine is the butcher to talk to. 10/5 stars”
“Belmont is a good grocery store, however they can be very expensive and have a limited supply. The fish market closes well before the actual store closes and the customer service is just mediocre…. for those reasons I would say it’s a 4 out of 5. It’s not a Dave’s, but it’s close.”
“As a 6 year weekend resident that lives close - it is the best. Drop in for the basics to fill the fridge. Then pop back for sandwiches (sometimes both Sat/Sun). The staff is wonderful. Each time I go it feels more like I’m part of their customer family. They close for a few weeks in Feb- well deserved. I go other places but I always come back!”

“I am definitely going to do my grocery’s at this location got to support local businesses they sell healthy and local products that I feel safer buying here for a small market up than let’s say I a Walmart let’s tampering of the products and chemicals used overall much healthier plus people are nice and it is a cute store.”
“I was happy to find Shaw's in Wakefield, RI. I've missed being a Shaw's Shopper after they closed the store in Westerly, RI years ago. I really don't mind the drive as long as I can be Shaw's Shopper again!”
“Busy gourmet store. Lovely checkout staff. Great for residents and visitors. Fresh food counter. Be prepared for some tourists bringing their pushy and aggressive big city personalities, especially at the counter. Locals, stand your ground :)”
“Exceptional service from every staff member, large variety of everything you need from snacks, drinks, ice cream, fresh baked goods and the butcher has all the best meats available, Top Quality A+. Our family loves this place, I highly recommend, they even make their own seasonings for every type of meat, which we always have stocked in our home.”
“Super nice people. Ordered some great fresh bluefin tuna steaks that were fabolous with some mint/parsley oil and vinegar sauce on the way back from Charlestown Beach. Don't forget the stuffies. My son devoured them. Next time I will take home the scallops.”

“This is as good as it gets for Walmart. Very large and has a good selection. There is a grocery section, but I am not sure I would trust the produce. Given COVID, I wish they would staff more team members to run the registers so it would help social distancing.”
“Albert in the deli is THE NICEST and most accommodating worker I have ever met. I have celiacs disease making it difficult to buy from the deli. Albert voluntarily cleaned the entire slicing machine for me to avoid cross contamination. I would never have asked but it was above and beyond. Thank you Albert! Stop and shop, I hope you value this staff member!”

“Shout out to store employee (possibly name SHEA ) at shell gas station on ten road road. You deserve a million dollars. I sent my nephew in the store with my card (that was declined) I accidentally gave him the wrong card. He comes out and the guy let him go, (paid for his items). I gathered the only cash I had $10 at the time and made sure to give it to him. His whole entire face lit up and he didn’t want to take it. You could tell he appreciated me coming back into the store to recognize his kind gesture more then he did for the xtra couple of bucks. It’s people like that, that make the world a better place. #payitforward #ilovemycommunityP.s if I ever win the lottery I promise you I’ll be back to give you that million dollars.”
