“*September 2025 update. I contacted Newport Scrimshanders again for another custom ring. Mr. Kiracofe's scrimshaw skills are simply a treasure. I presented him with an idea and he brought it to be. Incredibly satisfied with him and the business. If I could give another 5x stars I would, so I suppose that makes it 10x now.

Mr. Kiracofe responded within 24 hours, I easily placed my order over the phone the following day with the store, and just received the ring (beautiful green clover men's ring). It turned out to be much chillier in the morning than I anticipated, so I decided a souvenir long-sleeve shirt would be the perfect addition to my wardrobe.We happened to park near Frazzleberries, which I'd consider a more upscale souvenir shop. They have lots of high-quality goods -- gifts, magnets, clothing, etc. I was looking at a different shirt when a friend pointed out one that was SUPER soft. I tried it on and was immediately sold. The fit, the material, all great, and at a reasonable price. I want to say $35?I also bought a very nice Newport magnet at the checkout counter.A very successful visit!”

“Such a fun store to stumble into while walking around the Wharf. Primavera Newport is full of unique, quirky items that make great gifts... or things you didn’t know you needed until you saw them.
Most of the displays made me laugh (in the best way). It’s one of those places where you keep saying, “okay wait, this is cute” or “who would I buy this for… oh, me.” We ended up grabbing candles (which smell amazing and weve already started burning one of them), but everything from the books to the mugs to the little novelty pieces felt thoughtfully curated and different from the usual tourist shop finds.
Perfect spot if you’re looking for a gift that isn’t boring or generic, or if you just want a quick stop that’s lighthearted and fun. Definitely worth popping into while you’re on the Wharf.”

“This is an expansive gift shop with tons of merchandise highlighting Jamestown and the island! There is also a wide selection of men and women's clothes as well as some shoes. There's a side room full of items for kids. You will absolutely find something neat to take home to remember your time visiting Jamestown. They even have 15-20 different Christmas ornaments too!”
