“*September 2025 update. I contacted Newport Scrimshanders again for another custom ring. Mr. Kiracofe's scrimshaw skills are simply a treasure. I presented him with an idea and he brought it to be. Incredibly satisfied with him and the business. If I could give another 5x stars I would, so I suppose that makes it 10x now. I contacted Newport Scrimshanders about a custom ring. Mr. Kiracofe responded within 24 hours, I easily placed my order over the phone the following day with the store, and just received the ring (beautiful green clover men's ring). Reasonable price, excellent customer service, and overall stellar experience.”

“At recent visit to Newport, 1st time tour of The Breakers & its gift shop..Being an unabashed feminist, I could barely stop myself fm overbuying the capacity of my luggage with all the suffragette offerings: literature, high quality pro-women & nautical themed home items. Could it be that my coffee tastes better from a Votes for Women cup/saucer? LOL. Yes, I think so!”

“I loved this store. Their purse section is great. Actually I found to many. Does anyone know if they have a website because I would love to buy more. That woman that gave 1 star I would say maybe you all was having a bad day. I went in three times and everyone was great. Sometimes it's your delivery. Anyway please respond and tell me if you do have a website. Thanks so much.”

“I've got to be honest, I've never had jerky before, and I didn't pick up any today. I went here to get some Christmas gift ideas and I'm really glad I stopped by. Not only do they have tons of exotic jerkies like kangaroo and alligator, they have simple ones like beef and buffalo chicken. I was really impressed with their hot sauce and salsa collection. Tons of flavor varieties and a lot with really funny names. This is definitely a store to try if you're looking for a gift for that hard to buy for person.”

“Omg! What a fun and unique store! The sensitive person that gave this store a 1 star review because their feeling were hurt is hilarious. You poor little person with no sense of humor. No wonder you didn't like this store, wahhhhhhh, Snowflake.Go in this store, support small businesses! Such fun things. Great store for white elephant ideas!”
