“The nautical themed Inn is well maintained and spotlessly clean. The bedroom is spacious and the shower has good water pressure. The pantry is well stocked. The Inn is less than a 5 minute drive(20-30 minute walk) to the Cliff Walk and about a 10 minute drive to downtown Newport. There are a few cafes and restaurants that are 5-10 minutes walk from the Inn. Mission, a coffee and burger cafe, and Bottega Bocconi (an Italian market and deli) are next door to the Inn. Some of the restaurants are closing for the season. Tony, the owner, is extremely helpful in providing tips on where to eat and what to do around the area. There are ample parking spots at the Inn. It's definitely a great place to stay when visiting Newport.”

“I haven’t actually stayed here yet but I still feel like this lovely inn and its ownership deserve a positive review from me. I booked a stay over the phone more than a month prior to when I was supposed to stay here for one night, amidst other single-evening New England stops on a road trip. Six weeks later, I was in Providence checking for confirmation of our Newport lodging spot, and could not find email or credit card confirmation. Stupidly forgetting the conversation I’d had over the phone with the owner weeks prior, I assumed that I had been scatterbrained and not actually booked where I meant to, then panic-booked a last-minute spot elsewhere in Newport for the evening. Come 6 o’clock I received a lovely voicemail from the owner asking what time she should expect us, and upon hearing her recognizable accent over the voicemail I immediately realized the error that I’d made. I called and she was incredibly kind - understanding and forgiving of my mistake. Ultimately, I would have loved to stay there and feel very dumb about how things transpired, but so grateful for how she helped to handle it. We will certainly be booking at the Sea Breeze (and making a specific note to self that we did so if we do so over the phone) in future years!”

“Everything about this hotel was a 10/10

The rooms were magnificent and very, very clean, and the breakfast buffet was quite delicious for a hotel breakfast ! Bonus points The Applebee’s is connected right to the hotel so you don’t even need to go outside to get some lunch/dinner! Very convenient, and we got 10% off Our dinner bill because we are a hotel guest.

I will ABSOLUTELY be returning!”

“This is my go to hotel every time I check in the same guy is working I forget his name but he takes care of me I always request a second floor end room and for the most part he always gives what I ask for and it’s also quiet I got no complaints I book threw choice hotels I tried to write a review on choice for my stay but it won’t let me for some reason so I just came on google to write the review this past month I stayed here maybe 4 or 5 different times always get the hot tub room bring my son he enjoys the pool all employees are very nice I will be back someone give that guy behinde the desk a raise cause he goes out of his way everytime to make sure the guest are happy I will be back”

“My boyfriend and I have made this an annual trip - such a lovely hotel with even lovelier staff. The reservation team was super understanding and accommodating (on one stay, I left an important item behind and they kept it safe for me; on another stay, I got the flu and needed to rescheduled and they worked with me!). The front desk staff are always so welcoming, and this time they gave us 2 warm cookies upon arrival. The cleaning crew are so kind and do an excellent job as the rooms are SUPER clean and cozy. Price is fair! Location is great - pretty views and close to the center of town. 10/10 would recommend and will continue to come back!”
